Hey everyone! I installed mod loader today but I don't know if it's working. How do I know if it's working? I have windows 7 btw.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Is installing another mod just the same when you have mod loader? I.E Dropping the .class files into the minecraft.jar file?

Install a mod that requires it, and see if it runs! Easy as that.

You will have a "ModLoader.txt" in your .minecraft folder :)

modloader is not a mod, it is a group of class files that enable other mods to work. so if you install another mod that requires modloader and it doesn't work, then you know that it is not working. might i suggest Too Many Items to test modloader.

Did you drag all the .class files into your minecraft.jar?
Did you delete META-INF?
Then yes. It's working.
Modloader doesn't add anything but it allows certain mods to work together and some mods to work at all. It isn't just a stand-alone mod.

Yes I did that. Ok good! Then to install another mod I just do the same thing that I did to install mod loader?
