December 21st,
I awoke on my ship today when I heard cracking sounds, and harsh wind and snow. I looked outside my window to see that my ship's sails were broken. I called out for my crew, but I did not hear an answer. Outside my cabin I saw a situation far worse than I could have ever imagined. Snow, stretchin so far and so white it hurt my eyes. My ship has somehow got through a river, and is now stuck in the ice. I am stuck on a place which I fear to be the north pole. My compass doesn't seem to work. I decided to look for my crew first. They were nowhere to be found. I fear the worst for them. In the basement of the ship I saw something that seemed to be a snowman. As I touched it it moved! Without hesitation I struck it down. Something is not right here. And I believe those snow demons have something to do with it.
For the rest of the day I stayed inside the ship, it seemed unrepearable though, so I have decided to go look for help and recourses the next morning.
December 22nd,
I took all items in the basement and set out on my journey. As I looked around me, I saw another of those snow demons. They guided me to the south (I could tell because the sun was just rising in the east). I followed them, and I found some sort of glacial fortress. No doubt that this is where the snow golems come from. I looked back just once, and then the snow golem was gone. More of concern was that there seemed to be no entrance to the glacial fortress. In one of the corners I saw a cave, it seemed to lead to one of the towers. Unfortunately the cave was filled with water, and of course swimming on the north pole is a very very bad idea. I used some wood of my ship to make a raft to get to the other side.
When climbing up some stairs in the end of the cave, I managed to get into the glacial fortress. Unfortunately not in the courtyard, but in one of the towers. Strangely enough the tower itself was deserted, but the courtyard was full of snow golems. I climbed up the tower, for there was no entrance to the courtyard, carefully walking on the ice stairs. Over the wall I walked to the other tower, where I found an entrance to the courtyard. Only now I could see that the only thing in the courtyard was some sort of ice sculpture, circling around a hole in the ground. As I approached it the snow golems seemed to get agitated. Luckily I had taken some of my ship's rigging with me, so out of curiosity I climbed down the hole. The inside was a tomb. There was an ancient inscription which I could not translate. In the coffin I found the skeleton of a man fully armoured. The item that took my eye was his sword. It was not the everyday sword a smith can make you. It was as if it was not made of iron at all... The blade was glowing a faint blue, propably made out of crystal.
As I looked up I saw it was night already. When I looked outside I saw undead legions. I rushed back in the tomb and took the sword and the bow. The skeleton inside crumbled as I took them. I got outside and using my new sword I managed to defeat the undead by rushing through the frontlines and attacking the archers, while avoiding the arrows. The leader of the undead horde was riding a giant spider. The spider, when walking, was as tall as me legs. The general had a bow in his hand, and his face looked rather like this:

I beheaded the general and then drove the magic sword through the spiders belly. How those legions managed to get in this fortress is still a mistery to me. I decided to stay in the glacial fortress for the rest of the night, stalling my hunger with bread.

Last night I had thought of an excellent idea: I made string out of the spiders web, then used that string with a stick to make a fishing rod. As bait I used a piece of my bread still left. As I wanted to leave the glacial fortress, I only now noticed that the snow golems were all gone. I figured that they are one with the snow, and can disappear in it. The lake in the cave beneath the tower in which I entered had fish in it, so I tried out my new fishing rod...
