Pictures don't even show some of the best parts!!

I recently built this world from scratch using WorldPainter and am looking to showcase it to the public through this server! It's a huge world, roughly 2200 blocks wide and about a third longer than that with landscapes rolling from 256 blocks up all the way down to about level 30! The world is made up of about 70% jungle, 20% taiga/ice mountains, and 10% swamplands mixed within a lowland jungle area. The majority of the map is a very mountainous area with some very neat, very scenic areas scattered around. The only thing the map is missing is people like you to explore it and find all of it's hidden treasures!

This is a very casual server and it's practically Vanilla, save for a few plugins for utility purposes. The aim is to just have a small-ish group of mature, cool, fun players to explore and build together. I would honestly love to see this map used for some explorer / settler role playing, but you're free to do as you please. Just don't disturb the natural beauty of the Garden.

Are you part of a building crew looking for some inspiration for your next project? You're welcome here, it would be great to have some excellent builds in this world and I can assure you there is some prime real estate within. Some Mayan type temples and ruins would fit right in and the lowland swamps are just begging for a mother tree.

Are you a server owner looking for a little original content to bring to your server? I'm open to the prospect of allowing a more active server to use this map! I'd like to see as many people as possible exploring this world and future worlds I might make, but I've run a server before and simply don't want to deal with the head ache of a large community.

The Garden

Eons ago, in a world that vaguely resembles our own, the populace can hardly be considered such. The only signs of anything close to civilization is the scattered tribes of hunters and gatherers. Urban sprawl is nothing but the crazed delusions of madmen whom are often left behind to die by whatever group was unfortunate enough to host them in the first place. Yes, the world is young. Nature is king. This particular region, known by it's inhabitants primarily as The Garden, is almost completely covered in a thick, mountainous undergrowth of jungles and swamps. No one group has settled anywhere long enough to make an impact upon the land. There are no structures or ruins to leave any evidence of ancient man. No artifacts or relics to suggest the ancients have ever touched this land.

No. No, we are the ancients. We are the infants of humanity. We are the dawn of civilization.

If anyone has any comments, constructive criticism, flames, please post them. Is this wall of text too much? Need more pictures? Is the application process to involved? Is the server lagging? Is there too much jungle? Are the mountains too difficult to traverse? Let us know!

Why you want to join our server: I see that it's fairly new, and I feel I can contribute more to a small server than to one with tens of players.

Yes, I would. I do remember a long time ago (Around march, my early days) getting banned from a server, but I was never give nan explanation, nor had I wronged anyone. I am not banned on any other server (that I know of.) I do hope I can get onto your server.
