I'm willing to bet 2000 imaginary Derp-Dollars that this will most likely be a copy pasted or more unreliable version of modloader and will only be compatible with windows.

I would be very surprised if it arrives in January. The last 2 or so weeks Jeb has been too busy working on Cobalt. Minecraft has taken a back seat...if not put in the trunk of the car.

This is great news, but I don't see why we can't just update our mods as we used to. But I guess it is easier to install mods like texturepacks.

Good. I stopped playing Minecraft in 1.8 when the whole game went to stupids. I will play again when mods are implemented by Jeb who CLEARLY is a better dev.
