In the spirit of other journals, I have started one as well.

Day 1:
I spawn on a small island, with a tree, and some very nice landscape.

While waiting for the world to render around me, I start doing what any adventurer does- Punching a tree.
I build a Crafting bench, and create the usual wooden pickaxe. Time to find some stone. I dig a small shaft downwards, but almost immediately find a deep, deep hole. Maybe a ravine? I collect some stone, and look at my surroundings. It looks like some mountains, and a swamp.
I build some tools, but I find a need of 1 cobblestone to complete my sword. I immediately FALL into the suspected ravine, land in water, and confirm the ravine exists. [While looking at the picture, I noticed the coal.
I use one of many waterfalls, and climb back up to the surface. I’ll have to look at the ravine more closely later. I complete the Stone Sword, and kill some sheep for a bed.
In the swamp I find mushrooms and reeds.
At this point, it is becoming night, and as a joke, I pick some flowers and dye a sheep red.

Sadly, I have gone too far. I get lost, and this chapter ends.

-I find my way back home. (Yay for MC Renderers!)
-I decide on a location for my base. (Look at the Render Image for more details)
-I collect more resources. (I hope)

I seem to have loads of time on my hands, because I'm off school.

This is a long entry (58 pictures), so it is in spoilers.

Chp. 2
It is the middle of the night. I consult my map, and find a way back to my spawn. The creepers… Are BAD!
I jump into my hidey-hole, burn some wood, and set up base. Yes, right above the ravine. Time for a nap.
A new sun rises. I go down to the ravine and grab the coal.
After building a boat, I decide on a proper place for my base (A rhyme!), and travel there. There is some EPIC landscape, but I am dying of hunger. I find some pigs, slaughter them, and rejoice.
I climb up the mountain that will serve me as a base, and the sun sets. I sleep. Waking in the morning, I get a better view of the mountain, and due to the abundance of sheep, I name the mountain.
Coal! I find 2 pieces, and fall down. I climb down the mountain and dig a hole. I grab sand and find Iron! 6 pieces of it (I have decided that this will be used for buckets), and 20 coal. I also hunt a bit, and grab some raw steak. Climbing back up the mountain, I find zombies… They are quickly disposed of.
I have a steak dinner, and sleep. My total inventory on the 3rd night in this world:

I wake up to the smell of burning zombies, and begin the process of building my mountainside base. I finish, and transfer my equipment to the base. I begin smelting some stone, for fixing the floor and walls. I build a glass wall, to protect me from falling, and cook the iron. The iron is going to be used for buckets, not items. I need water up in the base.

-I mine. I will NOT be putting so many pictures of this, unless I find something epic.
-I might travel to another mountain.

The mountain overhanging the lake left of your base is really interesting

I love it. I'm a photographer, and I enjoy video game photos too, but I have one suggestion. Try to take as many good angles as you can in your screenshots. Try to get at better angles if you can.

Welcome back! We return with another segment in 'Minecraft Journal'.
And so we begin..

Spoiler:

Mining and Farming!
I start off this chapter with building a 1X1 shaft down through the mountain, and putting a ladder through. And…  I die! Death Count: 1 (I fell)
I collect the items, but I don’t have any ladders to finish the job. On my way back up the mountain, I get killed AGAIN. Death Count: 2 (I got killed by a skeleton)
I sleep quickly, and then I collect my items. I go around collecting some Pork, and some wood. I also take a moment to check out the surroundings. I
I climb another mountain, and connect it to Sheep (II) mountain.
I finally finish the ladder, and build my shack.
I find some coal, and glitch out, but fix the problem.
The shack is finished, and I start mining. I find Iron, Coal, and eventually bedrock. I also make some pickaxes. I may have to start Branch Mining.
Total items after mining-

My trees grow! Weirdly.
I make paintings! A big one, and a little one.
Then I make buckets, I gather water, and collect seeds. Then I killed a squid, and grabbed some clay. Water has become infinite.
My new total:
I sleep and find my trees have regrown!
I build my "farm" and finish it.

Next Chapter (In another 12 hours, maybe)-
-We rename the mountain.
-We strip mine, without any pictures.
