So I've always been crazy about Etrian Odyssey, and i've always wanted their maps in Minecraft... i've done them before in the past but the project was abandoned and I ended loosing everything, now i've been wanting it again for a while... and I though of sharing what I did so far... If I get good feed back I'll post the rest as I make them... I've tried to be 100% loyal to the origial map... the beauty has been REALLY TAKEN OUT! I wanted a map where there was no need for mods, and that ppl wouldn't (normaly or accidentaly) cheat their way in...

I wanted feed back... I know it's not pretty... but it is supposed to:
* Be loyal to the original map
* Be hard
* Be dark
* Be fun
* Be a bit nostalgic (for those who played the game before)
* Be aMAZEing (terrible joke I know)
* Be minecrafty (a bit)

So tell me what you guys think...
Too easy (try Hardcore)?
Too Ugly (maybe a texturepack helps)?
Too LAGGY (I really want feed back on this one, my PC handle it just fine, but I got a good gamming machine so it doesn't really help on this subject)?
U guys want the rest?
U think I should change something?

How to use:
Just drop the contents of the downloaded zip to your .minecraft\saves folder, open minecraft, select the map, have fun, send feed back! =D

PS: If you guys are going to cheat, cheat just looking at the map blueprints... don't cheat with weapons and stuff 'cuz other wise it will be lame! The only thing you'll use extra from vanila version is the SPC teleport command. DO NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE, OTHER WISE IT'LL BE LAME AND BORING!

So in order to minimize the LAG... i've separated the floors with 15 blocks distances... that should help! It's also darker, more monsters... There are now two versions, the easy and the hard (the harder version should be more laggy cuz there will be more monsters). If any one would tell me if it's still to easy...

also YOU NEED SPC to access the other stratums!!!

Noone wants to try? It's acctually verry good! Give it a go!

It is a shame... but since noone is acctually interested/ gave feed back I'm freezing this project until further notice. I hoped to give you guys a good new fresh challenge map with fights and mazes but there is just too many maps around so it got lost in the process... anyway if anyone is interested the map is there. Enjoy! =D

getting your ass handed to you as you use your last gold on reviving a medic included?
Having that medic die to a butterfly because you slept in flowers included?

* There are plenty of monster spawners where the FOEs were supposed to be.

* No Revivals or gold or what so ever... only respawning 'cuz you already died like 500 times.

* You will die... not from butterflies nor sleeping in the flowers... in fact there will be no sleeping at all. Flowers... hum... only if you use bonemeal on grass.

* Rage quit... probably... like I said after you die like 500 times 'cuz of the zombies that keep spawning at you face while you try to place torches on the ground wich you'll probably not have 'cuz you wasted them all already... if not... them the spiders, or skelys... or creepers... any way... playing on hard can have it's down sides some times... LOL... but it's worth the challenge!
