1.What is this?
-This makes Minecraft™ launch with more ram, than java originally allocates to it.
-It can be used to run, "Custom Shaders" or "High Resolution Texture Packs."
-It works with Steam™ Overlay as well.

2.It is safe for my Minecraft™ and/or computer?
-As long as you don't use more ram, than you have
-It doesn't touch Jeb's .class files.

--2.5.What if I do?
-I assume no responsibility for your computer safety, use it at you own RISK.

3.How to install this?

-Launch it from anywhere, BUT MAKE SURE IT'S NOT READ-ONLY.

4.Can i share it?
-Sure, you can share it.

5.Is it free?
-It's totally free, if you have paid to get this, you have been totaly raped.

Yeahhhh, Isn't there a far more easy way to do this?
I mean for the steam overlay you can just click "add non-steam game to steam"...

I know, i think everybody can, BUT you cant do it, if you are using a .bat file. That's why i created this one.

*Edit
Ye sure, but i don't think if it will work in Mac.

Not really working for me. I included it in my bin folder (I would assume since its looking for minecraft.jar) but it comes up as invalid or corrupt minecraft.jar file. Does it have to be a clean minecraft jar, or can I have mods? Trying to use the 4GB one. I have 8GBS of RAM.

don't want steam to have anything to do with my minecraft. They have already ruined my skyrim.
Could you make a version without steam?

Yes, with this launcher, anyway, you have to add it to a non-steam game library.

You can use this, if you can launch minecraft using Minecraft.jar.

1.Backup your minecraft.jar
2.Force game to update.
3.Try now, if it works.
4.If it works, try modding your minecraft again. ;(

It's already in, just don't add game to non-steam game library. ;)

Did anyone know that you can open Task Manager, go to Processes, right click javaw and hover over Set Priority and click High or Realtime? That makes it run much faster. Also it seems to help if you fullscreen Minecraft (F11).

Warning: May cause seizures.

It just allow's minecraft to use all RAM it's given, but you can set it higher than 512MB.
Atleast, that's what i know.

And btw, with this launcher, you can just launch minecraft with high ram. All you need to do is, double-click the (.exe/.lnk) file ;) That's lot's of easier for people who are new in minecraft. ;)

Maybe this could help you:

1. Dearchive the JAR archive.
-jar minecraft.jar
2.Delete minecraft.jar
3.Archive your dearchived files back to .jar!

Did you put the .exe file into minecraft.jar/mineshafter-proxy.jar directory?

What text file says?
