What's the difference between 8x and 16x? Is 8x for less detailed packs? Or aka simple packs?

This pack is absolutely beautiful. I know its the usually simplistic tile look, but its xtremely well executed, quite possibly the most perfectly tile pack. I have found one of my new favorite packs.

Edit: and i f$%^ing love the banner!

Well, the difference between 8x and 16 is the same as with 16x and 32x. Although I'm having this pack in a 16x terrain because with some minor edits cacti, torches, beds and much more wont look glitched.

Freaking beautiful. It flows ten times better than the default texture pack ever did.
Please complete it, mobs and all. I don't think I'd ever use anything else now.

Seriously. I cannot get over the beauty in the simplicity of this pack.

Btw if it's actually on a 16x terrain, then I don't think you should have 8x in the title :)

If it is 8x8, they pixels actualy look larger. Defeating the point of calling it 'Tiny Pixels'.

Wait.. . It isn't REAL 8x?
If it isn't, PLEASE make it one, or remove "8x" from the title...
I can actually kill someone to take away all "Fake 8x" packs...
But this is so pretty D:
Still a brony.

This was made at 8x. However, Leo scaled it up so that things such as cactus could still work. So, it is technically a 16x pack, but the level of detail would be the same in an 8x, as the aspect ratio of the pixels in all tiles are the same. ;)

This is cool, great work as always, Leo! :D

Just wondering as well, what's the map that you took the screenies on? Looks like a good one to showcase textures is all...

After playing with this for a while, I have a few recommendations:

A slight hue change in Stone Bricks, they seem far too similar to cobble, can be hard to distinguish.
Breaking animation doesn't really fit too well, maybe make it start in the middle and go outwards in square?
For final stage wheat, increase the saturation so it's a brighter yellow/orange
Making iron greyer or browner? Looks too similar to gold atm I think.
Adding some vertical lines in wooden planks.

Other than that, beautiful. :)
