Better Furnaces
This Mod adds some new Furnaces to the game!

And yes, you are allowed to use my mod in all modpacks you like as long as you provide me with a link to it

Iron Furnace
It cooks Items 1 and a half times as fast as the usual furnace. Gold Furnace
It cooks Items twice as fast as the usual furnace. Diamond Furnace
It cooks Items 4 times the usual speed!!! Extreme Furnace
It cooks Items 50 times the usual speed!!!(That's why it's so expensive)

Fuel Efficiency Upgrade
Put it in one of the Upgrade Slots to double the amount fuel is worth (equivalent to the old EnderFurnace), only doubles 128 items, so better use something worth it
Ore Processing Upgrade
Put it in one of the Upgrade Slots to double the amount ingots you get from ores (works on most ores, the only modded ores working are: Copper, Tin, Silver, Lead)
Only doubles 512 ingots.
Advanced Fuel Efficiency Upgrade
Put it in one of the Upgrade Slots to double the amount fuel is worth (equivalent to the old EnderFurnace), doubles infinite Fuel items .
Advanced Ore Processing Upgrade
Put it in one of the Upgrade Slots to double the amount ingots you get from ores (works on most ores, the only modded ores working are: Copper, Tin, Silver, Lead)

Liquid Upgrade
Put it in one of the Upgrade Slots to add a tank of 4 buckets to your furnace, that way you can put a bucket in and won't have to smelt all 100 at once, but can smelt them in 1/100 parts of a bucket of lava (1 item at a time).
Also, it enables the use of BuildCraft Combustion Engine fuels, which then also can be used in 1/100 of a bucket (instead of smelting 3000 items, smelt 30 at once and save the rest(or not, it's up to you ))
Storage Upgrade
Sneak-click with it on a Better Furnace to enlarge it's internal Storage (2 Input, 2 Output and 2 Fuel Slots)
Auto-Output Upgrade
RightClick with the Upgrade to change the side it outputs to.
Put it in one of the Upgrade Slots to make the Furnace Output to chests (or other Inventories)on the side you specified.
Auto-Input Upgrade
RightClick with the Upgrade to change the side it takes items from.
Put it in one of the Upgrade Slots to make the Furnace Input from chests (or other Inventories)on the side you specified.
Factory Upgrade
RightClick with the Upgrade to change it's configuration.
Put it in one of the Upgrade Slots to make the Furnace Input/Output/Fuel Input items on the sides you specified.
Color Upgrade
Works only on an Extreme Furnace.
Right Click with the Upgrade to change the color it has.
Put it in one of the Upgrade Slots to make the Extreme Furnace the Color you specified.
The Electric Upgrades are removed, and will be added seperately in a compatibility pack.

You simply need minecraftforge installed. (Use atleast forge 399, but i recommend you to use the latest "universal") And then just copy the mod zip into your mods folder. Banners:

quite boring, really. try add sometyhing new, for example a furnace that can work usin sunlight. or lava. or add a campfire. good luck;)
It isn't trying to be entertaining. It's aimed to give a faster way of smelting and cooking without altering the original furnace. Plus furnaces already work with lava.

*cough* IndustrialCraft induction furnaces make this mod useless *cough*
Maybe some people do not feel like making a battery,or using solar power or redstone to power their furnace. Also,this mod takes up far less space than industrial craft. Not saying industrial craft is bad,that mod is awesome.

Pretty cool. Some new textures would be nice. Maybe make the iron furnace like an industrial furnace, the gold like an oven, and the diamond something else. I'm not sure for the diamond.
Maybe make the diamond furnace powerable by redstone. It would be good for adventure maps.
