Drizzcraft is a simple SMP server with plugins that will make your stay enjoyable. We aim to give the player complete freedom over their experience. We offer towns, shops, and easy ways to make money. We are always open to suggestions for the server, so if you have any please leave them below. Thanks!

Tips: Here are a few survival tips.

• Get to know everybody. They might be able to help you with survival
  
• Buy and sell stuff from/to shops. It is an easy way to make money.
  
• A staff member will gladly help you find a spot to build your home. If you need it to be WorldGuarded, you can simply ask! Staff are knowledgeable about WorldGuard.
  
• Team up with other players! You will get much more accomplished if you do so.

• Guest:The starting rank. When you join the server, this is the rank that you will receive. You must fill out an application on this thread to be grey-listed.
  
• Member: This is the rank that will receive if your grey-list application is accepted. You now have access to a few kits, and you also have building rights. You are now a normal player at Drizzcraft.
  
• Regular: This is the 3rd rank at Drizzcraft. To get this rank, you must know the staff well, and have played on the server for at least 3 days. You also have special abilities on the server including shop creation.
  
• Veteran: This is the 4th rank at Drizzcraft. To get this rank, you must know the staff and other members well. Another requirement for this rank is that you must have played on the server for at least 2 weeks. You have access to more kits and flight - flight is not creative. Other special abilities do exist within this rank.
  
• Trusted: This is the highest-possible member rank. To get this rank, you must be a Veteran on the server, know the staff and players well, and have played on the server for at least a month. It is possible to get this rank without the month requirement, but only the owners have authority to break this requirement. You have access to item spawning, creative mode, and mute. The staff members will vote on whether you get this rank or not. Respect members who have this rank.
  
• Trial-Mod: This is the lowest staff rank at Drizzcraft. A user with this rank has applied for the position, and was semi-accepted. They will be watched and carefully examined by staff and by trusted members. The player must be helpful in-game, and must follow all rules. After good recommendations by trusted members and staff are sent to the owners, the user will be promoted to the Mod group - as listed below. Trial-Mods do not have the same permissions as a Mod - only tempban, mute, and kick.
  
• Mod: Members with this rank were promoted from the Trial-Mod group. You are now a standard staff member at Drizzcraft. You will have access to /ban, /tempban, /kick, /mute, and everything else that the ranks above have. You also have more special abilities and commands, but those are classified. Do not ask about them unless you are a Mod.
  
• Admin: A member with this rank has proven absolute excellency in the staff field, and has therefore been promoted to the 2nd highest obtainable rank. Administrators have access to all of the commands for WorldGuard, WorldEdit, LWC, SWatchdog, and ChestShop. This rank is extremely hard to get, and only the best can obtain it. ***Some commands may be limited.*** ADMINS DO NOT HOLD THE OP POSITION!
  
• Head-Admin: This is the highest obtainable rank at Drizzcraft. The whole server depends on this person. The Head-Admin holds the op position, and carries much responsibilty. The Head-Administrator must be active, and must know about plugins and have had experience with administrating a server. The current Head-Administrator: N/A
  
• Co-Owner: Co-Owners usually help out with this server when they are online, but they mainly rely on the staff members to help everybody. Co-Owners have access to the console, hold the op position, and make the most important decisions of all. Co-Owners obviously own half of the server. Current Co-Owners: corey72723, Deantasanto
  
• Owner: The owner of the server. He relies on the staff and the Co-Owners to keep the server running and to keep bringing more players into the server. He holds the op position, and makes the biggest and most important decisions of all. Current Owner: drizzt610

• No hacked clients
  
• No mods/3rd party programs that give you an advantage over others
  
• No x-ray texture packs or x-ray mods
  
• No spamming or using excessive caps
  
• No advertising or talking about other servers unless approved by an op
  
• No harassment or stalking
  
• No griefing or stealing other players stuff
  
• No exploiting, glitches, bugs, or loopholes
  
• No asking staff for items
  
• Don't be afraid to ask questions. Staff are here to help you.
  
• Don't be a douchebag
  
• Keep it PG-13

Mods should play the game just like any other player, but should also handle situations when they occur. You must not hold any grudges against any player. For mutes, you must mute 5 minutes for the first offense, and 10 for the second. After that, it is 15 minutes. All offenses are listed below.


Offenses to mute for:

• Minor chat spam
  
• Excessive cursing or raging
  
• Excessive caps lock
  
• Speaking about other servers without permission
  
• Staff or player disrespect
  
• Staff or player harassment

Offenses to ban for:

• Major chat spam
  
• Racism - 2 hour ban (1st offense), 2 day ban (2nd offense), permanent ban (3rd offense)
  
• Advertising and giving away IPs in PMs

When applying for Moderator, please note that you must meet the following requirements:

• Be mature, fair, and responsible
  
• Know and understand all of the rules
  
• Know all of the commands that you will have access to as a moderator
  
• Be a part of the community for at least 3 weeks
  
• You must be Veteran rank or higher
  
• Know that your application is automatically pending once you post it. It is not denied or accepted until an owner says so.

The new server is provided by Avante Hosting. The server is fairly cheap, but it would be amazing if you could donate to help us pay for the server. We do this all for you, not ourselves.
