The X-Ray Mod

Note: Currently this mod changes Minecraft's *.class files making it not compatible with some mods(optifine will break some stuff).
Note: This mod does not require modloader.
Note: If you find a bug or error send me a PM with the error.
Note: If you got any questions about new features feel free to PM me.


This mod comes with 5 functions:
X-Ray "X" key
NightLight "L" key
Redstone Finder "R" key (Bugged, dont use a switch when this is on)
Fly "F" key (if installed)
Better cordinates - use the "C" key to toggle

v014 - added light to entities underground when xray, nightlight or redstone finder is on.
v013 - added coordinates in the left corner that only shows the decimal number.

v010 - added a new function nightlight, now you can see at night and in dark caves

lava is visible with xray on.

Maybe u can add a feature to see ONLY MOBS like creepers trough a wall !

I like the seeing mobs idea. Although, hasnt this mod been created multiple times before. I remember downloading this mod for like 1.4.1 or something.

i think it's simple! u can make seeing blocks trough blocks! why u can't make seeing mobs trough blocks? u can do that! maybe it will be very hard but u can do this!

Entities are Separate from blocks.

Sigh, this mod's main purpose is purely for cheating on Multiplayer servers. Using an X-ray to obtain items in a single player world is not in any way, shape or form legit. If you need to get better items in Single player either use Creative Mode or install the TooManyItems mod.

I wish they would stop allowing the development of this mod on this forum, because it EASILY ruins a PvP environment.

You kinda do know that zombe's modpack has also the function of x-raying ores and air blocks but it hasn't been reported or locked.

if people dont want anyone to be able to use xray on their server they can esily download a plugin for it.

Sadly, it's not that easy, if someone want to bypass an x-ray plugin, it's shit easy to do that. The only legit reason someone would want this is to check if redstone (under ground) is malfunctioning, but 99% of the people who download x-ray use it to grief.

xray mods are for sore losers... unless using it to find redstone undergroaund they are totaly retarded and shouldnt be allowed... my friend was accused of xraying on a server i play on, i was watching his screen as he mined straight for diamonds, he wasnt xraying. he has a 6th sense, he just knows where they are.

I have made one. It gets the world seed and makes a world using the seed. It then predicts where ores are by comparing single player to multi player. It takes around 5 minutes but is super useful. Also is pretty easy, the only hard part is rendering the chunks.

Some people like to play on vanilla too, but sadly, kids join their servers with x-ray and ruin everything, completely.

if its an issue have the server admin run a beter server its not at all complicated to stop ppl from using it it seems like a good mod for those that don just wan to use tommanyitems or creative mode to just get what they want and actually go out and play it might still be like cheating yourself but better than just bam click this and u get the item this way its more challenging

You should update it so it shows the Dragon Egg that you get after killing the Ender Dragon.
