Updated the map for Minecraft 1.2.3.
Fixed door to Senro's house and double wooden doors.
Only download the new version if playing Minecraft 1.2.3 or newer.
I am working on the second part to this series. Have removed the poll on what to make for second map, it is clear that I should continue this series.

Important Note: Do not save the game unless at a save point, as this might stop some of the redstone from working.

Introduction

Your old friend Senros, who you have grown up with, has been acting up lately. He has been corrupted by power and become more distant.
Evil creatures have been showing up across the land and no one has seen the Pumpkin Prince for weeks..
It is up to you to find out why!

This map is designed for 1-3 players. There are extra items in the chests to support up to 3 players.
The map contains many aspects of minecraft and was designed for you to have fun playing. Several puzzles have the ability to make them easier if you need to. Mob fights are as hard as you make them

Watch the trailer to get an idea on what the map is like.


This map is really fun to play, please give it a go. All feedback so far has been very positive.
The map will take approx 1 hour to complete.

It is a 16x16 texture pack so no mods required.

Install Instructions for Windows
1) Unzip the file to a directory or desktop.
2) Rules and notes are in the root directory.
3) Close Minecraft
4) WixXP: Click Start, Run, then enter %appdata%
Win7 Click Start, enter %appdata% in search bar
5) copy folder COTPP to the .minecraft\saves directory
6) copy file LosmCraft.zip from the TexturePack folder to the .minecraft\texturpacks folder. Do not unzip.
7) Run Minecraft and select LosmCraft.zip under texture packs button
8) Run Curse of the Pumpkin Prince and have fun!

I am planning on making the sequel to this map in the next few months. Any feedback on what you liked and didn't like will be important to help me make the next map better.
Feel free to post what you liked, what you hated and anything you thought could of been improved.
I will support this map as far as I can with new updates to Minecraft.

i just finished playing the map i would have done a video playtrough but couldn't do it because of low fps
it was currently a great map but there was some areas wich a creeper maybe blew up and i were able to escape

#1 in the city that was devastated there was a possibility to jump over the wall in the area close of the key to the secret room
#2 not actually a problem but you had to destroy webs in the maintenance rooms

Don't know when I would do another map, but help would be good as it took over 2 months to complete, and I can't remember how may times I play tested it!

I could put fences there..
Webs where there on purpose or you can just rush in and out.
Did you have any issue with the last fight? Woundering if there are too many monsters!

What version of Minecraft where you using?
Any ideas to make it better? Was thinking of making 2 versions with different difficulties.

yes i kinda had some problems about the blue spiders going into the prince room where you were you are going to revive him, it was really many of them and they were about to activate the final room so i set it to peaceful to stop them for some seconds but i never actually died didn't take it on peaceful anywhere else got to lvl 16

Going to have a look at end battle, will check how may cave spiders as maybe too many.
Thought it might be a good idea to provide torches in case you loose them also.
I guess the idea is to light up spawners to stop monster spawning...
