Hi! Im new at minecraft , and i dont understand how to install texturepacs. Can anyone help?

I tried this:

1. Download either MC Patcher or OptiFine if installing an HD texture pack.
2. If you downloaded OptiFine, skip to step 2a, if not, run the .jar file and proceed to click "patch."
2a. Install OptiFine like any other mod by opening Minecraft.jar, and placing the .class files in.
3. Move the texture pack (do not extract it!) to ... and drop it in.

Windows: "C:/%User%/AppData/minecraft/texturepacks"
Mac OS X: "%User%/Library/Application Support/minecraft/texturepacks"

4. Open Minecraft, and on the main menu, click "Texture Packs" and select the designated texture pack."

But i actually dont have a Minecraft.jar - file.

What do i do ?

Get a minecraft.jar by downloading win-rar, or 7-zip. You'll only need it for optifine. mc pathcher is just downloading somthing and cliking a button. mc patcher http://www.minecraft...-hd-fix-233-01/ Then just download the texture pack.

I'd love to see you feature New Realism by Mythra (or at least put a star next to it :P ). It's so clean-looking, and a huge upgrade from default, but it doesn't try too hard to over-do things with unneeded stylization :)
