Hello there !

My Name is Michael, and i am a linguistics student from Germany.
The course is called BA-MSK, which should be equivalent with Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics (Right now i am in the middle for my last year.)

I would like to help you translate Minecraft and any other project you may have.
I would be able to provide you with a German translation as i am a native German speaker.

How many words are to be expected to be translated in total ?
How many repetitions are in there?
Would you like a TM included ?
When is the deadline ?
Is there any payment to be made for translators ?
If so, how are the rates ?

However, coincidentally i am placed at an internship at a translation agency in Digby, Lincoln, Lincolnshire UK.
We are a small office of 4, though we do have a database of about 5000 translators who cover pretty much any language you may think of.
Our philosophy is only to deliver quality and express ourself creative.

But best thing would be if you would just look for yourself at www translationlincs dot com

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon ;)

Michael

I'm Spanish, I can translate to it, actually I did it and it broke! I wish it hasn't erased. Although I'd do it again.

Genial, así podremos respetar todos los signos ortográficos, acentos, mayúsculas y demás faltas que suelen desprestigiar un juego por culpa de una mala traducción. :D
Exacto, y si yo no se los acentos bueno ahi tu lo arreglas ademas yo no se 100% pero 95% te diria yo por las faltas de acentos etc.

For the guy that made the dutch version. Don't use Uw or U it doesn't look good in a video game. Use je or jou or jouw indstead ;)

Notch put this in the game! It looks so awesome.

Pues en las traducciones al castellano, ya que son español de españa que sean algo mas adaptadas a nuestro idioma, como por ejemplo "Salir del Juego" en vez de "Quitar del juego" que suena horrible

Hm, some German translation could need some work, too. Maybe allow registered users only? Or use a key published for a more mature community? <_<

Buen punto , Salir del Juego suena mejor que Quitar del juego. yo , Ximoh y tu podriamos trabajar juntos en esto.

Toda la razón, y cuando esté habilitada la modificación... hay que cambiar eso de "isquierda" que me han sangrado los ojos al verlo.

I can translate to Argentinian / Latinamerican spanish (which is different from Spain spanish, we hate that around here)

I've done lots of translations in the past, most recently the spanish subtitles for The Stanley Parable, so I have some experience.

Please, PLEASE, make options for both latinamerican and european spanish separately (es_ES and es_LA), thousands of people will be thankful if you guys do so.

Dudo que sea odio, sino mas bien que las diferencias a la hora de leer lo escrito, suena demasiado raro para cada uno.
