MineCraft Server/Remote Manager
Posted 06 December 2011 - 04:09 PM
Also note this program was written in java which is case sensitive!!!!
~Full control over MineCraft Server Settings
~Banned Words Filter
~Remote Admin Control of Server Settings
~Easy to use Gui interface
~Tray Support, with the ability to hide gui from desk top
~Remote Consul injection capabilities
~Safely stop server so you don't loses any information
Icon Tray Support:
Known Bug List::
right click ban on players page does not work
small chance but there may be an orphan process of the server created, only happen in rare events where MCSM crashes or was stop incorrectly via task-manager
Don't get:: Announcements, Banned Words (working on it)
ip box says null, most likely I'll get rid of that and replace it with the sever name...
Still to do::
Permissions (partly done)
Log Commands with time stamp
Auto re-start/Backup feature....
Unzip the file,
The minecraft_server.jar (download form the main site) must be Placed into the same folder as MCSM or else it will not work!!!!
also if using jar file the lib folder must not be deleted or moved.....
Windows:: run the jar file or exe file, I have both as an option, exe file was made to work with fire-daemon.
Other Os:: run the jar file....
note you can pass the file:
nogui //Starts the gui hidden
start //Starts the server when program is loaded
ex: java -jar MinecraftServerManager.jar nogui start
ex2: MinecraftServerManager.exe nogui start
:: Updating Server::
Just replace mincraft_server.jar file like you would normally just make sure the server is STOPPED!!!!!
For now set it to
This will give all permission to user, AS OF THIS BETA ON 12/6 YOU MUST HAVE ALL PERMISSIONS ENABLED OR ELSE ANY THING THAT IS NOT ENABLED WILL BE SET TO NULL!!!!!!!!!!!
By using my software you are agreeing that i'm not responsible for any damages done to your computer by this program, and the you are using the software as is, Although any feed back on would be appreciated...
::Non Windows users::
I don't own a mac and didn't have time to test on Linux so if you have one or both of these operating systems and want to test please give me feed back! I know it's it's in java but i'm calling methods and classes that might not be cross plat form... ex: the icon tray....

I downloaded this, unpacked it into the same folder as the Minecraft server files and ran it. It looks great but after putting the info I had it still wouldn't take/save my IP address or even start the server. I launched the jar file directly and even used the batch file as suggested. I'm familiar with batch files so I know I did that part correctly.
I can run the server at the same time showing me that this program isnt launching correctly.

- It doesn't show players that are online.
- Join message don't work. I think it happens because it doen't register that players are online.
- I also think that other ting related to players login are broken.
KEEP ON GOOD WORK!!!
