Originally, I created this build on a classic multiplayer server back in December 2010. Thanks to the Dynamic Height mod by Vatec97 and mcedit by codewarrior, I was able to import this to the current Minecraft. (It took me around 3 weeks to figure out how to import this into Minecraft.)
The building is 512 blocks in length, 500 blocks in height, and 400 blocks in width, and according to MCedit, it is around 10 millions blocks.
An old McMap rendering. I had to import 4 different sections of the building to 4 different worlds (because the program doesn't render 512 map sizes), render each seperate section, and combine the pictures together). :biggrin.gif:
Some of the current pics. The texture pack is painterly with a few blocks modified by myself.
View of the central tower and its features.
One of the side entrance
Starting to form a city around it
Front entrance
My first three 3d creatures made
Some of the terrain. The terrain is made with the voxel sniper, and this is my first terrain I have ever made.
Currently, this is a work in progressive. I still need to complete the interior and finish detailing the back portion of the building. Everything you see above was built by me and took around three and a half months to build.
its a damn shame that it hasnt gotten more rep than it has. i blame newbie trolls here in the screenshots forum for that. but anyways, i dont have any other way to put it than this is simply a masterpiece and by far the best architectural building i have ever seen in minecraft. props go to you! keep up the mind blowing work!
It may sound stupid, but I really have wet eyes right now from emotion.
That is so impressive and beautiful! I whish I could even hope of building something like that.
The airships are already a masterpiece ("Because I can..." - Yes, sir, you really can!), let alone the rest.
Oh, and I guess you would make a lot of people very happy if you made a video of it.

I would love to make a video of it; however, I get out of memory issue due to the 512 height limit. Maybe Ill make a video when I get more memory.
i knew i would see this eventually. probably the most impressive of real life to minecraft builds you could do.
now make notch proud and build the rest of the world in minecraft
I added a lot of new things. I created a tree growing from the central tower, I finished detailing the sides and front portions of the building, and I added three dragons (my first 3-D creatures ever! :smile.gif: ) fighting of some of my airships.
I have added some terrain surrounding the building, I started forming a city around the city, and I started working on detailing the platform that the Sagrada stands on.
As usual, comments/ criticism is greatly appreciated.

Yes, the second to the last airship is based off the Prima Vista. I just love the looks of the FF airships. :wink.gif:
You have officially blown my mind out of this world and somewhere into that purgatory region between the surface and the nether.
amazing work
Yes, everything was built by me.
Also, thanks for all the feedback everyone. :smile.gif:
