That's right, sheep now drop Lambchops, which can be cooked into Mutton.

Jeb said he'd add this, but I didn't want to wait.

So I made it myself.

Sorry for the high image resolution, these screenshots will probably take up your whole screen for a second before they're resized.

NOTE: IN THE NEW UPDATE, LAMBCHOPS HEAL 2 AND MUTTON HEALS 4

Now you can live off of sheep!

It works! Installation Instructions:

1. Install Modloader

2. Drag hm.class and mod_MuttonCraft.class into minecraft.jar

3. Open your mods folder (inside .minecraft), inside there is a file called 1.0.0. Take the MuttonCraft folder and put it in 1.0.0.

I'm not sure, it should be SMP compatible as long as the server and clients all have the mod.

Also, I thought that Mutton was cooked and that Lambchop was raw?

I've never eaten Sheep-meat before in my life. :/

I'd have to speak with the creator of that mod.

Based on the fact that raw beef and raw pork chops give 2 food bars back, and the cooked versions give 4 food bars back, it seems a little odd that lamb chops and mutton give less. It my opinion, it would seem more logical for lamb chops to give back 2 food bars and mutton to give back 4. Anyways, just a simple suggestion I had :)

Here is a little video I put together about your mod. If it is not too much of a hassle, I would appreciate it if you could embed it in your post. Thanks :)

This is exactly the mod I've been looking for, and exactly the type of mod that I like. Simple, nice and has textures that fit with Default Minecraft. One of my favourite parts about it, is that the names are proper. Most mods I find seem to have names that just don't feel right. I am loving this.

I am one for mods, and texture packs, so I decided to make this compatible with Faithful 32x, one of my favourite texture packs of all time.

Here you go: Dropbox Download

Put it in the original post or whatever you want.
There used to be a picture here, about mods I like. It was outdated, and keeping up with which mods are still updated is difficult. Also, go look at my album art on the Aether Soundtrack: http://emilevankriek...ther-soundtrack

So, I could use shears on the sheep, get 2-4 wool... and then kill the sheep to get mutton? Sounds really good to me.

Mod updated to make Lambchops heal 2 and Mutton heal 4.
