OVERVIEW:
The Last Horizon Server is a one of a kind server that offers something no other server can...A CUSTOM HAND BUILT MAP! Here at the Last Horizon strive for excellence. We offer an immersible minecraft multiplayer experience like no other. We feature an intricate economy with both NPC & Player shops. We have lengthy handwritten QUESTS that last for 35+ HOURS. PvP is available in many areas and there are also exclusive "protected zones". The Last Horizon is set in a MEDIEVAL ERA and has LIGHT ROLE PLAYING. We feature two distinct factions with a deep and rich background story with plenty of lore. We even have our own texture pack tailored to our server. The server currently has a enthusiastic and responsible server staff that always put the player first.
PvP:
We have a unique approach on PvP that allows players to expierence Pvp in a fun and addictive way. Most of our custom map is considered "wilderness" and is completely PvP. But there are also several "protected zones" on the server that tailors to the more peaceful player. Here at the Last Horizon we have an system of conquest that ties into the factions. There are several towns/outposts spread across the map(with the ability for the players to start their own). These towns can be laid siege to and their protections with be removed and the two sides can fight over the town. Choosing to burn it to the ground or perhaps try and capture it intact. Even [i]seige towers can be built and used to breach the town walls with the help of the Movecraft plugin. The choice is yours!
Factions:
The Last Horizon server will feature two factions upon release and will be adding a third in the future. The first faction is the Heartland High Elves. The Elves are the native inhabitants of our server and fight to protect their land and known for their wisedom. The Imperial faction features as the human race on our server. They are rapidly expanding their borders and will stop at nothing to claim what they believe to be theirs.
Quests:
Our server features dozens of intricate, well written quests that will deeply immerse the player into the story line and keep you entertained. Some of there quests are quite lengthy and can take up to 35+ hours to complete. We don't want to say much more in risk of giving away spoilers.
CUSTOM MAP & REGIONS:
This is what sets us apart from everyone else out there. We feature a HUGE custom built map that is simply amazing. The map is over 700 chunks wide and 750 chunks in length. It is quite feat of building and will keep you wanting more. The map features several distinctly different regions. Such as a Mountainous region that features custom built snow capped peaks and a seeminly endless string of mountain tops. There is a Valley region that has all the terrain set down lower to Y:30 which allows for extra high structures and features a large lake, many ruins, two rivers, waterfalls, and a trading town. These are the only two that we are revealing currently. Stay tuned for future updates on regions.
