Full Name: Zenophon of the North
Current Age:16
Sub-race (if any): Northerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): I was born Zenophon, the "Z" indicates the lowest social standing, my mother and father were both servants to the Mad King of the Great North, Adolfus. When a long, bloody, revolution displaced the throne, my mother, father and I were accused of sympathy for the for the king, and sentanced to death. Before the hanging, my mother took me into the kitchen of the castle where she worked, and smuggled me into the drainpipe with two loaves of bread, and sent me on my way at only 14 years old. After escaping the castle, i made my way south, toward the distant mountains.
Upon the crossing of the mountains, i was confronted with my greatest task. I saw a campfire in the distance, and snuck to a tree on the outskirts of a clearing, only to see a tribe of wild savages taunting a captive monster, before slaughtering it and eating it raw. These were known to me only in old stories, as the Bohra. I resolved to keep traveling and ignore the Bohra, but when i accidentailly strumbled upon few hunters, they attacked me and sent me fleeinginto the woods, nursing a wound to my arm. After hiding behind a tree, i discovered only 1 was following me, and i ambushed him with a rock, killing him. After numerous confrontations with the Bohra, i realized i must move on. After moving even farther south, i came upon a great sea, and an icy forest. I decided that crossing the sea was a better idea than taking my chances with the Bohra and attempted to build a canoe. After the canoe was thrown together, i ventured out into the great sea, with the idea that any land would be better than the icy wasteland from which i had come. Beforei knew it, a swift wind and rough sea started and my canoe was tattered and destroyed. Although i had learned to swim as a boy, i was quickly overpowered and sucked under.
When i awoke, i was face down in the sand, in the middle of the night, and was happy to be alive. I had arrived in the land of Anthos.

____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: I would not alert the figure as to the fact i know he is up to no good, rather briskly walk to a guard, and calmly let him know the situation. Then, do as the guard instructs, if he would appreciate assistance, i would help apprehend the figure myself. If the figure has many routes of escape, i would suggest letting the figure proceed on his journey, in an attempt to corner him and assure his capture.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: Confidently walk into view of the bandits, brandishing the sword, and call for them to explain themselves. As the bandits would rather an easy target, shown by targeting a feeble old man, i assume they would be hesitant to attack a well armed and tall, strong, confident man. If the bandits flee, i would talk with the old man about why he isnt safely inside a city, after all, an outcast could be very dangerous. If the story of the old man seems true, and he is truley old and feeble, i would arrange to stay with him for a few days to make sure the bandits did not return. Upon my arrival to a city, iwould immediatly report the bandits to the guards. If the bandits attacked me, i would attempt to fight them off using superior swordsmanship, learned from fighting the Bohra of the North.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: After carefully examining the wares of the merchant, i would buy items only essentail to my profession as an explorer, a compass, telescope and chart paper. I would ask the merchant what he had paid for the items, and offer him the same price. If the merchant told me his highest price was more, i would offer him only half way between our prices, and threaten to walk away without anything if the price was not accepted. If he acceptsthe price i would happily pay and assure him we will do business in the future. If he chose not to accept, i would politely apologise for not reaching a deal and leave.

Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Ray Salutar
Current Age: 31
Sub-race (if any): Northerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Ray, a 18 year old man, had been looking at the mysterious looking crown with the red gem in it for a long time. His father had forbidden him to even go near it, though Ray used to sneak up to it and look at it when the others didnt notice, though they where on a boat, so there wasnt much room for hiding. And there wasn't much for him to do, except helping the rest of the crew carrying of the goods they sold when they were stationed at ports.
There was something strange with the crown, though Ray couldn't figure out what.
He sneaked up closer to the crown. While he was closing in to it he could feel that the wind was picking up and that the boat started to sway. It started to rain.
When he picked up the crown he looked out at the violent sea.
The waves where getting quite large and the entire crew started to panic when they saw the giant wave closing in that was about to devour them.
In the midst of the panic Ray just stared at the giant wave and thought for a second that he saw something similiar to a giant tentacle in it. He dismissed the idea quickly as realising that would be impossible and as the giant wave devoured them everything went black.
Ray could feel a sudden urge to breathe. He flailed with his arms, hoping to reach the surface.
suddenly he felt a cold and big hand grasp his hand.
He was pulled out of the water and found himself at some wreckage of the boat that still floated.
The man who had pulled him up was his father, but before any of them had a chance of saying anything another wave fell upon them.
Ray opened is eyes and saw a beach with many sharp cliffs pointing violently out towards the sea and the wreckage where he had spent his entire life
He felt a sharp stinging pain all over his body as his senses returned.
He stood up and felt to his relief that he could still walk.
It was still raining,
and looking back towards the ocean he felt both rage and fear.
Rage against what the sea had taken from him and fear of it happening again.
He felt blood pour down from his hand as he realised that he was still grasping the crown hard.
He put it on top of his head and felt protected. From there he nearly never took it of.
After that he lived a few months in the wilderness until that he stumbled upon a city and living there on the streets for 7 years. Then he felt an urge to return to the wilderness as he did not gain anything here in the city. Now, 6 years later, he feels another urge. Though he cannot really specify what it is he wants. He suspects it is partly curiosity if what happened 13 years ago was a mere coinsidence or if there was some kind of higher power involved
Ambitions for the Future: He has no clear ambition except that he needs money and finding out about what happened 13 years ago.
Personality: Ray is quite friendly, though he is rather shy about talking to other people due to that he has lived quite a while without much people to talk to, otherwise he feels quite confident thanks to the crown according to Ray
Skills: He has a rather skilled swordsarm, as he has been practicing with alot of rusty and near-broken swords that he has found out in the wild.
Any other details you wish to share about your character: No

Answer: I would just wait a few seconds to see if they actully are threatening him, if they are and the old mans life seems to be in danger I would attack the bandits, otherwise I would ask them outside theyre reach and ask about what all this is about. If the old man would like to reward me for what i did i would take only take a very small ammount or none at all of what he is offering, considering he needs it more than me.

Answer: I'd guess I would start with asking him how much that iron sword he has is worth.
He says he will sell it for 50 minas. If I can afford without loosing too much of my total money. If I cant afford it without loosing a medium/large ammount of my total money I would ask what he would think of 38 minas, if he doesn't accept that I would raise my offer to 40 minas, then if he wouldn't accept that I would to 45 as my final offer.

____
1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: With little hesitation Wut D. Dragalis steps confidently forward. This bridge will not stand between he and glory. Wut was once overheard stating "Aye, on me honor, I swear I never done gave up easy diamonds! Or difficult ones for that matter! Har!" Wut was a confident dwarf, but not a stupid one. He slowly laid himself flat and the bridge and slowly, slowly pulled himself across on his belly. Rushing onto the bridge might be too much for it to bear but by spreading himself across its length he hoped to ease its burden. Wut predicts that with his haul he will be pushing his luck but should be able to get back across safely.
2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?
Answer: Sizing up these roughens, Wut decides to intervene. If not for his honor than his ale. Nothing sours a good mead like bloodshed. "Aye, yer be leaving' that one alone. If yers be needing a song to drown his cry me axe here can sing yer the sweetest song this side o' the mountains" he shouts. He hopes this'll be enough cause for the two cravens to be on their way. If theres ever a time not to draw swords, it'll be while under the hospitality of an inn keep. He's a bit outnumbers but he believes he has the advantage of reach. His axe would sooner kiss them than their dirks to cut his belly and he hopes this'll be enough to have the second one soil himself and turn heel if it came to that.
3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?
Answer: The temptation is great. Wut was known to love a tanker or two of ale but he's been swindled of the contents of his pockets after sleeping in his cups a few too many times. Ultimately he decides to hell with caution, theres a tanker of ale and he's a bit parched. He saunters over to the man and thanks him for the horn of ale. He guesses he could take the man if it came to blows but he'd rather share the ale and hear of the stories this bearded man has to tell.

How old are you?: 16

Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have.
What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I ran a role-play server for a year and a half, and now am working towards more advanced minecrafting.
How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: My friends from school.

Have you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?: Yes.
Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: Adding an imaginary, or sometimes implemented, twist that adds new elements of teamwork, progressions, and in this case, gameplay. In role-playing you take on a character and act as if you were them, with their own history and experiences. In Lord of the Craft, you take on the character who you create, and act as them in-game.
Meta-gaming: Using information taken from anywhere outside the game and using it in the game. If you see on a message board that your clan is getting attacked, and in the game you build defenses without any other way of finding out you were getting attacked, that would be a form of meta-gaming.
Power-emoting: A forced action on another player that could be considered unfair, usually where the victim player does not have time to react. In LOTC, if a human attacks an orc without the orc getting any prior knowledge or warning, that would be a form of power-emoting.
In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Lorem
Current Age: 102
Sub-race (if any): Dark Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Lorem himself remembers very little from his childhood. At the young age of 43, he was attacked by members of the White Rose, and lost all memory from his past, including his name, where he was born, his age, and his family. Although he currently lives in the capital city of Leumalin, he spends a large quantity of his time meditating in vast forests across Malinor, and concentrating on perfecting the art of archery with some attempt to spark memory from his past. However, very little has returned to him to this day.
After his many years of meditation, Lorem has remembered his name, age, and how to communicate with others. Through his returned ability to communicate, Lorem has learned from High Princess Titania that his parents were at one time closer to fluent in the ancient elven language than any elf has ever come before. He then contacted the Highguard about any reports about his parents, but unfortunately they had none. However, he has discovered they were looked up to as great teachers to the elven race in the study of common pronunciation and advanced language. However, ever since Lorem’s attack, his parents are nowhere to be found, and it is unknown whether or not they are still alive.
Now over half a century later, Lorem still looks to remember his early childhood. After decades of long meditation, only world experience may bring back the Lost Life of Lorem.
Ambitions for the Future: To Remember his past, and find his parents.
Personality: Very odd, but intellectually gifted. Lorem’s meditation seems to have given him guidance to assist other with their problems.
Skills: Excellent archer, gatherer, and is very patient and wise in battle.

Any other details you wish to share about your character: Ready to take on different tasks for the people he trusts, Lorem is a reliable and efficient worker that will take on any challenge.
Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: I may be calm and collected, but I still believe it is my job and a sworn duty to protect others from harm. I notice a young elf, close to crying on the ground. I carefully approach the young elf, interrupting the older elves from further communication.
“Good day, young elf. What seems to be troubling you?” I glance towards the older elves, making it apparent that I do indeed possess a bow. The younger elf replies.
“Yes, I’m alright.” The young elf wimpers.
I look towards the group of older elves. “My sincerest apologies, however if you don’t mind I would like to accompany this young elf home.”
The older elves just stand there, staring questionably. I reach for my bow, and before my hand could even reach the grip, the older elves sprint away in fear.
“Come, young one. I shall accompany you home.” Then young elf manages a smile across his face, and leads me back to his home.
2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer: I instantly become very intrigued of the cause of this old man’s fall. I examine the surrounding area for any possibilities of danger, and then proceed to check if the old man is still in good health.
“Excuse me sir, are you aware that you are on the ground?” No response. I was sure that would work. I lean in and poke the old man a couple times. The fourth poke did the trick.
“WHOOZA, WHAT, HOW, WHERE, WHEN, WHO???” Yells the surprised old man as he jumps from off the ground. Once the old man has woken, I make sure his memory is still with him.
“Sir, could you tell me your name?” It’s not a normal thing to do as soon as someone has woken up, but perhaps after my accident it is simply a habit I have forced myself into.
“Yes, I am Gilderith the Third, at your service.” The old man responds well and appears to be fully functioning mentally.
“Greetings, for I am called Lorem. Here, you just sit down. I’ll collect these coins for you.” I then proceed to collect his coins, and make sure none were left behind. As soon as all the coins are collected, I place them in his pouch.
“Why thank you, young sir.” Says the old man with enthusiasm. I smile, and wonder to myself exactly how old this man is.
“Of course. If I may, I shall accompany you, so you don’t have another fall like that.”
“I would appreciate that greatly. It isn’t too much fun to fall.” Says the old man, chuckling to himself.
We then proceed to walk back to his house, and the old man makes it back, safe and sound.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer: Through my years of meditation, I have come to the conclusion that worldly possessions mean truly very little in life. However, I humor the elven trader and allow him to show me his wares. I closely study each of the items in order to determine if any of them would be of use to me or my elven brethren.
“It seems you have a fine collection of bows.” I tell the trader. I recently noticed the unfortunate aging of my bow, and it would be best if I soon replaced it. As I have accumulated much over the years of humble living, I wouldn’t mind sacrificing a few minas for a good bow.
When the trader shows me the finest of his bows, and discusses its fine job in both battle and hunting, I am instantly intrigued. “This is the arrow-lander 9000: Perfect grip for steady aim, and durable string that will last 1000 elf-lifetimes!”
“Interesting. Tell me more.” I know I’m trapped. Bows are not always a worldly possession!
“This is certainly a very special bow. It could be priced at 50 Minas! However, you seem to be a very skilled and noble dark elf. For an elf like you, I’ll sell it to you for 40 Minas!”
I reply very quickly. “What! Nonsense, sir! With a bow like this, I wouldn’t pay less than 60 Minas!” I say to the trader, as his eyes light up. There is no haggling that should ever be done with a bow of that quality. I instantly pay the trader for the bow, and throw in a few extra for the tip. (I could only imagine that a trader in the Elven Woodlands would not get the best business.)

Gromli has not yet begun to make his mark on the world, but like most dwarves, he dreams of bringing forth beauty from the earth. He also has a knack for mechanical things, and is fascinated by the great works of the dwarven masters.
Ambitions for the Future: Gromli yearns to someday help build a great underground city, like the masters of old. Great halls, columns, gates, and waterways haunt his dreams, all adorned with gold, silver, and jewels.
Personality: optimistic and kind; quick of temper, but also quick to forgive, and fiercely loyal to his friends. And like all dwarves, he loves to eat and drink (especially to drink).
Skills: Mining, smithing, and architecture all have great potential in Gromli. He can also drink well for a dwarf his age.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Gromli is about three feet tall, has a braided beard of reddish brown, and can usually be seen wearing leather pants and work gloves.

____
1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer:
Unstable? Hah! To a sure-footed cave dwarf, even a thin rock bridge seems more secure than a surface road. Without hesitation, I proceed across to mine the diamond. I know the others will be pleased with my find, and I'm already dreaming of the beautiful things I will craft from it.
Answer:
I feel for the young dwarf, as I don't have too many seasons under my belt myself. Moreover, if there's one thing I can't stand, it's bullies who pick on dwarves smaller than themselves. So I set down my pint, stand up, and place myself between the young dwarf and the two shady-looking characters. I place my hand casually on the handle of my pickaxe, and face the two squarely. "Good dwarves," say I,"Lemme buy you a pint." My words are friendly, but I think they will see the determination in their eyes.
If this works, they will decide that I'm more trouble than they bargained for, and move along — in which case, I'll sit with the young dwarf and hear his tale. If it doesn't work, then my pickaxe may taste more than rock this evening. Should I fall, at least I'll know I fell doing what was right.
Answer:
This is a question? I grin back and say, "Thank ye, don't mind if I do!" I'm mildly curious about what a barman is doing away from his bar, handing out free ale, but hey — free ale! I assume he can spin me his yarn while we drink.

Full Name: Zenophon of the North
Current Age:16
Sub-race (if any): Northerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): I was born
Zenophon, my mother and father were poor innkeepers, along an pathway north of the mountains. We lead a simple life, tending to the occasional traveler and explorer. When I was 13 years old, I was
woken in the middle of the night by my mother screaming for my father. A man
who had often stayed at our inn was bloodied and ragged, telling my mother and
father to lock all the doors and board the windows. After a few hours, he
calmed down and he told us his story.
He had been exploring along the coast,
when he saw a great fleet of ships sailing for the horizon to the south. He
said they bore the crest of a place called Aegis. He marveled at the ships
until they disappeared over the horizon. He skipped on to when he was attacked.
The “ Bohras” as he called them, disgusting savage creatures, half boar and half human, attacked him on his wayto our inn, not far from the ocean. He was wounded, but able to fight them off
long enough to make it too our inn. His emotions were getting the best of him
and my mother put him and I to bed.
I awoke to the sound of my mother calling for me down stairs, and a horrible
grunting/scratching noise came from outside our inn. My mother shoved two loaves of
bread into my arms, and pushed me into the wellpit below our kitchen. She told
me to runa s fast as I could. . After escaping the inn, i climbed out of the
well, about 100 yards from the inn, and saw horrible creatures breaking in the
door, and setting fire to the inn. I ran as fast as I could to the south.
5 long hard years later, I came upon the crossing of the mountains;
i was confronted with my greatest task. After numerous confrontations with
the Bohra, i realized i must move on from the wasteland around the mountains
where I had been living for years, and resolved to travel south. After moving
even farther south, i came upon a great sea, and an icy forest. I decided that
crossing the sea was a better idea than taking my chances with the Bohra and
remembered the story of the man who died with my parents, great ships traveling
toward the horizon. That will be my goal, to find those people. After the canoe
was thrown together, i ventured out into the great sea, with the idea that any
land would be better than the icy wasteland from which i had come. Before knew
it, a swift wind and rough sea started and my canoe was tattered and destroyed.
Although i had learned to swim as a boy, i was quickly overpowered and sucked
under.
When i awoke, i was face down in the sand, in the middle of the night, and was happy to be alive. I
had arrived in the land of Anthos.

____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure
stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what doyou do?
Answer: I walk toward the figure and shout, “ Sir!
Stop!” The figure turns and flees, “Guards, Stop him!” I yell. I run after the
figure, as he begins to run down an alley. I realize I could cut him off if I
use a short cut, utilizing my knowledge of the city layout. “Guards, stay on
his tail!” I turn to run down a perpendicular alley, ducking under cloth lines
and vaulting over a low wall, landing on top of the hooded figure. Gold spills
across the street and a dagger clatters to the ground. “Guards, arrest this
man, I recognize the dagger as an assassins.” The assassin responds, “you scum,
you haven’t heard the last of us!” as the guards lead him away. A third guard
turns to me and thanks me for my help, “ Thank you citizen for all you have
done” I respond, “ Anything for the empire and the emperor” Now I must remember to watch my back, they may come for me next…
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small
cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be
threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: I confidently stride into the view of the bandits, “Leave here vermin, and never return, lest
you taste my blade.” The bandits turn to face me and decide not to risk
fighting a large imposing stranger, “We won’t spill your blood here today, but
rest assured, we will be back” and spit on the ground in my direction, before
melting back into the woods. “Dear sir, what could they have possibly wanted
with you way out here?” The old man sits on a stump outside his doorstep and
sighs, “There is a rumor going around that I have a vast fortune in gold, from
my days as a tax collector for the king.” “I was accused of stealing from him,
and I was out casted to here.” He looked at the ground, clearly ashamed and
placed his hands over his face. I took pity and said, “ Sir, when I reach the
next city, I will make sure the proper authorities know about these wild
bandits, they will be taken care of. Also, I will check up on you from time to time
when I pass this way, never be afraid of them, but get a good sturdy lock for
your door.” “Good day” I walk away from the house, in the direction of the
nearest city to report the bandits.
3. You are standing within
the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful
stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggleand choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: I see that the merchant has items that could
be useful to my journey as an explorer for the king, but I must be cautious, my
purse is light. “Hello Merchant, how are you on this fine day? I am here to
purchase some wares, at the right price, of course” he responds, “Well if we
can agree on a price, the item is yours.”
I nod my head in a agreement and carefully examine a compass he has, that
was hanging along with other novelty items, and discover that it is extremely
valuable. “How much for this compass sir?” he responds, “oh that old thing? I’ve never had an offer on it; I can’tremember where I bought it. What about 10?”
the compass was easily worth 100, and I couldn’t swindle the merchant
out of his rightful money, “ It is worth at least 50, here.” I hand the
merchant 50, he says, “sir, I cannot thank you enough for your honesty. Here
take this” He hands me a brand new sword, of the finest metal and elegance.
Worth at least 1000, “ I could not take this!” he replies, “ please, it is hard
to find an honest person, and a on the rare occasion one presents themselves,
they must be rewarded. And besides, what do I need with a sword? I’m only a
merchant.” With this gracious gesture, I turn and leave with my new sword and
compass, saying, "Bless you sir, i will be back often to haggle again!"

Full Name: Brian "Shadow" Norvasc
Current Age: 25
Sub-race (if any): none
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):Brian grew up on a small farm in Oren. His father was previously a soldier and often taught him swordsmanship, his mother was a good cook.
Brian was instructed at age 15 to befriend the girl from a neighboring farm and spy on her father. Brian's family had suspicions that the other family was stealing their cattle.
Brian found out that the girls name was Isabelle and they became very good friends. Brian enjoyed her company but he knew he wasn't there to goof off.
His investigation yielded no results for the longest time, but this was about to change.
Brian and Isabelle were walking through Isabelle's Garden when a slip of parchment caught his eye.
He acted like he tripped and slid the piece of paper into his pocket while he was on the ground.
Later that night, Brian showed the piece of paper to his father.
His father was instantly enraged. He burst out the door, leaving the paper on the table. Brian looked down at the paper and was surprised at what he saw.
It was a bill of sale for two dairy cows, which couldn't have been Isabelle's because her farm didn't raise cattle. He suddenly heard screaming from the neighboring farm.
Brian sprinted over to Isabelle's house. When he opened the door he saw his father holding a dagger to Isabelle's fathers throat. Brian had to turn away at what happened next.
His dad slid the knife across the mans throat. Brian ran home and locked himself in his room. The next morning Brian went to see Isabelle, but she wouldn't speak to him.
Brian, heartbroken, went home and went to his room. He packed a bag with clothes and strapped the iron sword his father gave him to his back.
When nightfall came, Brian climbed out his window and headed into the forest.
Brian grouped up with some bandits while he was in the forest. The men were surprised at Brian's stealth skills and gave him the nickname "Shadow" often sending him out as a spy or on assassinations.
Brian was almost killed several times while he was with the group and slowly developed his combat skills. Brian left the men after being with them for 3 years. Since then he has been a wanderer, moving from town to town, doing what he can to survive.

____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Brian spots the shady figure walking towards the palace. He whistles for the guards. One guard heads over with his hand on his sword.
"What do you need?" the guard says cautiously.
Brian simply nods towards the man. The guard takes notice and calls over the other two. The guards approach the man. Suddenly the man sprints down a small side street. The guards begin to pursue when suddenly something catches Brian's eye. He spots the man. Brian runs up the street parallel to the one he saw the figure, trying to cut him off. When Brian rounded the corner the man was nowhere to be seen. The guards eventually catch up to Brian. "He went that way" Brian said as he points up the small pathway. "Thank you for your help, but you better let us handle this." says the guards as they begin running in the direction Brian pointed. Brian still wanted to help but figured he better do what they told him and continued what he was doing before the incident.
Answer: Brian sees the man in trouble and comes up with a plan.
"They have heavier armor so I could probably run faster." He thought to himself. Brian emerged from the forest. "Hey!" he shouted as he walked toward the men. "This doesn't concern you." The men said as they turned around. Brian bent over and grabbed a rock off the ground. "Oh, but it does!" he said as he chucked the rock at one of the bandits. The old man watched in bewilderment. "Why you little.." said the bandit with a scowl. Brian then picked up another rock and threw it at the other bandit. The bandits began chasing Brian. He turned and went back into the forest, obviously faster than the heavily armored bandits. Brian found a small, hollow, log and hid in it while the bandits passed. When the bandits were out of sight Brian went back to check on the old man.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: A small necklace catches Brian's eye.
"I bet Isabelle would like that, if I ever saw her again..." He thought to himself.
"How much for the necklace?" Brian asked as he pulled out a pouch filled with 10 minas.
"That necklace is pure silver." said the shop keep as he handed it to Brian.
Brian held it examining it for awhile.
"Yes, it is a fine piece. But how fine is the price?"
"Make me a offer." said the man.
"No, I insist. After all it is your shop." said Brian as he emptied the minas into his hand and laid the necklace on the table.
"How about 12 minas?" said the shop keep looking at Brian.
Brian looked in his hand and said "Sorry sir. I don't have that much."
Brian began to walk away.
"Wait!" the shop keep said leaning over the stall.
Brian turned back.
"For you I could do 8 minas, since you respected me and didn't try to haggle." said the man as he handed Brian the necklace.
Brian looked in bewilderment, as he has never been shown that much kindness in a big city.
"T..Thank you sir" Brian said as he payed the man.
"No problem, if only everyone in this city were as respectful as you." said the shop keeper as Brian walked away.
Brian wrapped the necklace in a small silk cloth and placed it in his pouch. Ready to give it to Isabelle when the time comes.

Current Age: 28
Sub-race (if any):
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Growing up in a cold unbearable to most northerners was the life of Savenrik. He lived in the mountains alone, his mother , dead of whooping cough and a father he never saw. He was said to have went to trade and never came back. Savenrik found comfort when he went to the spring near the house his parents lived in. This spring was a tropical oasis to the northerners, a sight of bluebird nests in aspen trees, a spectrum of flowers unseen in the north, a bear content to share water with a creature he trusts, one being Savenrik. This was safety, health, life. Suddenly, when he was 15, it all ended when he was dragged out and accused of being a highwayman. He may have looked ragged enough, but he had not seen a person since he was 8.
He was tried in a far away town, a completely different sight from the small house in the cold and the spring that kept a fire in savenrik's heart. He was proven innocent after they found the real criminal and a heated trial. He was then released into the nothing he had. From there he took many jobs. He became a farmhand, a merchant, a mason, and a potter's apprentice. Through these he had never found any job he liked or was sure of. At least, he thought, I am alive and can still learn what this world has to offer.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: I was heading back to the Capital after spending a few hours in the road selling goods, I was originally heading to the local shop but all of the sudden as I turned to the mighty Palace of the Emperor I saw a dark-clothed figure which was apparently trying to sneak past the guards, I knew the figure was an assassin and had no good intentions on the Palace, then I saw 2 Guards, they were all distracted an apparently not aware of the assassin, I then screamed to the Guards "Hey, Guards! Look over there!" The guards then turned and realized the assassin was trying to get inside, but the assassin also heard the screaming and he realized the guards were coming, to his bad luck the Guards then creamed to other guards and the assassin was finally captured. I gained the hate of a villain but saved some lives.
Answer: When I was walking in the oak woods trying to find a way to the city I found out a small Cottage, there was an old man, he seemed to be unstable, then I noticed 2 heavily armed bandits were threatening him, I was only armed with an iron longsword and leather armor as I had just arrived from a ship travel, as soon as I realized the bandits were threatening the old man, the old man gave them all of his Minas but 1 of the bandits was about to hit him with his weapon, I stepped in and said "He already gave you his Minas, let him go." The bandits laughed and one of them said: "We do what we want to do! But this is your lucky day, we'll let the old man live, 1 tip kid, never step in a fight with someone that is more powerful than you." Then the bandits walked away in the woods, I returned to the old man and said "Are you alright, sir?, Did they hurt you?" The old man then said: "You saved my life! How can I pay you back?" I answered: "No need sir, all I need to know is where's the nearest City." He then told me the direction and I head that way, I took the bandits tip and realized I could have been killed that day.
Answer: When I got back to the Capital City after trying to find my Cousin I saw a colorful stall, I approached as fast as I could because I was starving after my last travel, I begin talking with the man and he had plenty of food, he also told me he had no set prices, since I have merchant experience I told him a fair price for some of the food he was selling, I told him: "I would like to buy some Cooked Porkchop for 5 Minas each, I would also like to buy some bread for 5 Minas also, you should also price the cake for 8 Minas, those prices are fair enough." The man then answered: "Sounds fair enough! But I would sell the Cake for 10 Minas." I agreed on this price and said: "Fair enough, thanks a lot, good sir." The man sold me 5 Porkchops and 2 Breads. Then I had helped a man in selling his goods for a fair price, and I had enough food for my next travel.

Full Name: Drazel Meto Current Age: 18 Sub-race (if any): None Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): I was born in the woods, with two happy parents to look after me. We were rather poor, but we lived in the wilderness, and got our food by picking apples and fruits off the trees. We never hunted. My mom, Shalissa, was in love with animals. She would rather die than let me or my
father lay a hand on an animal. Every morning, me and my father would
go out, deep into the woods, to find the freshest apples. Then we would
eat them. They were always delicous. Because of my diet, I grew to be
very strong. I didn't know it at the time, but this was very important. Life
continued this way, until I turned 11. When I was 11, me and my father
were off picking apples, when we came across the settlement Aeriel. It
had amazing designs, and was one of the most amazing places I had ever
seen. It was about 2 or 3 miles away from our house. The villagers were
kind enough, so we welcomed them, and we were invited to join one of
there feasts. There was meat there. My mom was horrified, and my father
had to take her home. I knew they wouldn't return. The villagers
appoligized and said they did not know she valued the lives of animals
so much. I told them it was okay, and after a while, things began to
settle down. I had had a delicous dinner, consisting of much fruit, and
much salad. As usual. I had begun to like these villagers. I thought
they were all nice. But then the man appeared, the man who was not nice.
His name as Herun. I smiled at him. thinking he was kind. He turned to
me. In his hands, was a very, very, large sword. I stepped back. Before I
could do anything, he brought the hilt of his sword down on my head. I crumpled to the ground.
When I awoke, my money had been taken. Everything had been taken from me. Not that I had much, but it angered me. It angered me enough to make me want a means of self defense. I was able to convince my parents to let me practice archery. I was a natural. And so I learned
archery for 7 years. I was an expert by my 15th birthday. But the
villagers couldn't teach me anything more when I turned 15. So I packed
my things, including a bow that I had made myself, and a quiver of
arrows. I said goodbye to my parents, and told them my reason for
leaving. I was going to travel to Laurelin, in hope of a better archery
teacher, and still being able to live in the forest. The villagers said
it was not too far from here, and it was in a magnificent forest. And so
I began my journey. My journey was a safe one, and I didn't meet many
people along the way. After about 3 days of traveling, I arrived in
Laurelin. The villagers were right. It had a magnificent forest, and on
top of these wonderful trees, were only slightly-less magnificent
houses. Elves wandered on the roads that had been built on top these
trees, all of them smiling heartily. Instantly, I knew I was going to
live there forever. It was perfect. That night, I traveled throughout
the treetops, asking elves where to find an archer teacher. They all
told me the same thing. "We are not much of a war nation, but of course,
we must have soldiers. Go to Captain Hardey. He'll tell you. And so I
did. Captain Hardey was a stern man, but he got the job done. I learned
that soon enough. He appointed me apprentice of Ranger Sear. Ranger Sear
was much kinder than Captain Hardey. I rented a house, and Ranger Sear
gave me money to pay the rent. On the weekends I would sell fruits that I
had picked. The elves would all accept my fruit happily, and munch away
on them. I continued practicing my marksmanship for three more years,
until I became an expert and dropped out of training. Up to this day I
live in Laurelin, the most magnificent area to live, in all of Aegis.
Ambitions for the Future: I plan to set up my own fruit shop, where we will sell the best fruits in all of Laurelin! Have you posted your app on Minecraft Forums?: Yes. Personality: I
am very kind, and would eagerly help a poor man without a second
thought. I am very determined, and once I set my mind to something, I
keep doing it, and do not stop until it is over with. Above all this, my
main hobby is reading, and archery. I will also always think of others
before myself. Skills: I am very good at archery, and picking foods such as apples, grapes, and other fruits. I also can survive in the wilderness well, because of the 18 years I spent living in the wilderness. Appearance
(this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):I have thick
blondish hair, I am rather fair skinned, both my ears poke out of my
head and curve into arrow like shapes, I am about 5 feet, 11 inches

1.
As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering
and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves
are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: I
approach the older elves and shout at them to stop that nonsense. One
of the larger elves turns on me, and laughs. I draw my bow
threateningly. "Lay off this boy. Why don't you pick on someone your own
size?" I see the boy scurrying away, and watching from a safe distance.
Two of the largest elves turn on me. "Ha! How about you, bud?" They
crack their knuckles. Only then do I realize they are unarmed and will
rely on brute force. Fools, I think to myself. I sprint towards them,
and at the last second dive to my left. The elf had swung his fist where
I was standing, and stumbled. I am much faster than the rest of them,
and I run towards where the boy was watching. Do to my 18 years in the
woods, I am very strong. I pick up the boy and run off before they can
realize what happens. Once i'm sure we’re safe, I walk with the boy
home, and tell him to keep clear of those men.
2.
Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old
man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the
ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold
coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the
pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer:
The old man hits the ground with a thud. I dash over to the man, and
help him up. "Thank.. thank you,sir..." Murmers the dreary old man. I
realize he's hurt. I hand him the cain, and return his pouch of money. I
tear off some cloth from my shirt, and use it to repair the coin sack. I
walk with him to a hospital, where I watch his recovery for about an
hour, until I am sure he will be okay, and leave.
3.
Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing
in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and
calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his
carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer: "Ah,
well, I was just taking a walk, so I don't have many Minas on me. But I
suppose.. How much would'ya do for a nice cold ale?" I ask, suddenly in
need of an ale. The man laughs. "A good old ale. How about 15 Minas, if
you don't got much. "How did you know?" I ask, laughing. "I only have
15 Minas." I hand over the money and he returns the ale. he pulls one
out for himself. "Cheers!" we clang our glasses together. I drink some
of the ale, and continue my walk through the forest, sipping ale as I
go.

Past / History :
I was born in Kingston in the Realm of Anthos to a book binder and seamstress respectively. When I was 3, my mother died getting caught in a wagon wheel. My father hung himself a week later out of misery. I was raised by a family on the outskirts of the town working on a farm for some time after, until the age of 8. I then ran away, sick of the grueling, disgusting work, and to find a place to call home. I felt a sort of wanderlust then, wanting to see all there was in the realm, and perhaps beyond. I traveled and learned how to use bows and swords with a group of hunters in the forests near Abresi for a time, and finding out how to properly survive on my own. But once again, I wanted to see things on my own, through my own eyes, without a particular job at hand. So I traveled the forests. It seemed every new tree was a new spectacle to me, the forest a home. But I ran into a caravan one day, whom I asked to direct me to the nearest town. They pointed me towards Salvus, which was only a few hundred meters away. I had heard of it, a heaftily populated city, though not the biggest according to some. I had never seen a painting, let alone the city itself before my own eyes. The man with the caravan lent me a ride, so I accepted it. He became a sort of father to me, Geoffrey Threadbeard. He had been raised by a family who believed in the strange customs of the Wood Elves, which he promptly rejected in his own faith. Gained the same wanderlust as I, and had formed a career out of it. He taught me the trade of the road, and melped me grow to a man.
At 14, tragedy struck once again. My mentor had caught a disease that caused him to cough blood, and feel faint constantly. His condition wavered over half a year, until finally, one day, he passed. I kept the money he had earned, and created a shrine with his goods, and laid him in the center. I cremated his body, and scattered his ashes near the Temple.
I wavered in and out of sanity for the next half a year, til the morn of my seventeenth birthday, I felt disgusting. Hadn't bathed in weeks, hasn't been near a single person, and was hardly sustained foodwise. I remembered so little of the past 6 months, it all seemed a blur. I had to take ahold of myself, so I set out once more, this time deciding to begin exploring the realm on my own, and finding goods to trade in the larger cities. I became familiar with the fair folk of Abresi once more, and began to sell items at the docks to wavering artisans and merchants.
There was a point where I wanted to attempt and begin to study magical properties, and how to manipulate them. I secluded myself in the forests, and spent the time up to three months ago trying to no avail. I was delivered a message shortly afterward, telling me there was a lie I was told long ago. An accident had never happened. I felt the need to pursue this strange message. I began by searching for the sender, knowing only the mysterious crest of a white-hawk and moon against a blue and black banner.
Ambitions for the Future: Deciphering the strange message, and learning what it means. Settling down in a city and making a name for myself.
Personality: Witty, but courteous and generous. Has faith in the good of people, and tries to avoid fights accordingly.
Skills: Basic skills with a bow and sword, cooking and survival. Exceptional trader, using my charisma to my advantage.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making
his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are
guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Naturally, I follow him. Try and see where he's going, and if he's up to no
good. If I see him doing something I
suspect to be questionable, I'll either try and detain him myself, or, if not presented
with the opportunity, call for guards to make him panic and flee the
scene, or get caught if he's stupid enough. I'd personally make sure
I'd detain him non-lethally, as not to break too many laws, but make
sure he's either out cold, or immobile.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small
cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron
blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening
him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
I would try and distract them first. Create a loud bang using twigs or
gunpowder parallel to where I'm standing, and
while they either investigate or even turn, I'd choke them out, or
hit them in the skull with a rock or the hilt of my sword. If it came down to it, and they threatened either my or the elderly man's life,
I would use lethal force.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man

that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose

discussion that happens).
Assuming they were general goods, I would most likely be looking for cloth items, tools (i.e. chisel, spade, hatchet) to use in my travels. I would barter with the man, sending fancy offers back and forth, until we are both satisfied on a fair deal. If the man tries to rip me off however, I would most likely either walk away, or boast of how poorly priced his goods are.

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full.

5 long hard years later, I came upon the crossing of the mountains;
i was confronted with my greatest task.

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
I was born in the woods, with two happy parents to look after me. We
were rather poor, but we lived in the wilderness, and got our food by
picking apples and fruits off the trees. We never hunted. My mom,
Shalissa, was in love with animals. She would rather die than let me or
my
father lay a hand on an animal.
Before I
could do
anything, he brought the hilt of his sword down on my head. I crumpled
to the ground.
When
I awoke, my money had been taken. Everything had been taken from me.
Not that I had much, but it angered me. It angered me enough to make me want a means of self defense. I was able to convince
my parents to let me practice archery. I was a natural. And so I
learned
archery for 7 years.

1.
As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering
and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves
are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer:
I
approach the older elves and shout at them to stop that nonsense. One
of the larger elves turns on me, and laughs.
He points out that his
carriage sells just about everything, and that he's
willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do?
(Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion
involved).
Answer:
"Ah,
well, I was just taking a walk, so I don't have many Minas on me. But I

If it came
down to it, and they threatened either my or the elderly man's life,
I would use lethal force.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man
standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a
variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and
that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose
prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the
discussion that happens).
