Thanks for making this mod, it saved a Portal mod map I'm making.

Does it work with lava too?
I've got wool right next to lava and it's fine.

Hey There

Just downloaded the pre-release 1.3 and saw the mod won't work - any chance of getting an updated mod to 1.3? It's a cool mod.

Thanks!

He probably has to wait for MCP(Minecraft Coder Pack) to update.

Totally didn't know that! New to this addictive world, no doubt about that. I can wait for the mod!

Any plans on releasing a 1.3.2 compatible version or just hold over to 1.4? Unfortunately I don't believe SPC currently supports the extinguish command and I'd rather not have to mcedit a world before I load it in SPP just to ensure buildings don't burn to the ground.

Why the hell did someone rep this? This mod was made before the gamerule, sure it's a little obsolete now(no offence, Craftingbench12), but until recently it was actually really useful for some things. Personally, I'm kind of glad it's still being updated. It shows the dedication of the modder.

no pics no clicks dude its probably a virus

This is not a virus. His mod is the same as the one I use in my Fire and Ice mod, although I provide the source code to stop such comments. Compile it yourself , if you trust no one.

He has just changed the burn values to zero. There is not to many ways to stop fire and this is the easiest. That saying is getting old fast, we're just trying to help.

Well it's actually quite useful if you're doing a legit survival world and don't want to play on peaceful. Now I can build wood houses with fireplaces, without cheats, and still not on peaceful mode.

You don't need peaceful for vannilla nofirespread, just either
1. /gamerule doFireTick false
2. nbtedit some things

It's really not that hard.
