Not everyone uses Bukkit (for some reason modders only seem to make their mods for vanilla SMP, and the Bukkit ports (those that there are) can take a long time to stabilize).
So I second there being a server version, please!

Btw, to those who are wondering, neither of the class files modified by this mod are also modified by Forge, which means theoretically it is indeed compatible with most forge mods.

Okay, you get it (in the first post). :)
It would be nice, if someone can test the server port.

Not working for me in 1.2.3. I made a new world and dug down to the bedrock and its still all uneven. Are there any special instructions I may have missed out on?

Copy the *.class files from my Zips in the minecraft.jar and delete the META-INF folder, like on all other mods. You must use the right version, there's a version for 1.2.3 CLIENT and one for 1.2.3 SERVER. Some more infos would help to help you, so tell more what you done.

It'll probably be 1-2 weeks before I switch to 1.2.5, are you planning to update this?

You really should contact Jeb and see if you can't get this included in vanilla. having an uneven bedrock layer so-many thick, is a remarkably flavorless feature, and this mod has helped me make some fantastic underground caverns without using things like spc or world edit. If I were to use no other mods, this one would always be included... and optifine but that's unrelated.

I'm curious, when you do have to update your mod for the newest versions of minecraft. What exactly is there to be done? Modding and programming and the like is beyond me, you have 1 class file, what's there to change?

If I'm correct (I've made two mods), most stuff doesn't change, but they reobfuscate almost each release. So you have to redownload MCP and recompile it. Although sometimes they change the code which can break it too.

Sorry for the delay. But it seems that the 1.2.4 Modfiles will work for 1.2.5 too. Anyway, I've recompiled it with the new sources. Have fun, download links in the first post :) .
