I have confirmed that the setting worldGenCreatureSpawning prevents Buildcraft oil generation when set to true. This is with Mo Creatures 5.23 and CustomMobSpawner 2.2.2
Changing this setting to false allows Buildcraft oil gen, and creatures are still spawning. I'm guessing they just won't spawn during initial chunk creation, but they do shortly after. Does anyone know if there are other consequences for this option?

Considering passive mob spawning is where the bulk of the mobs come from, having to miss out on chunk-generated mobs shouldn't be a major issue. As you said, they'll likely spawn in shortly after anyway. The only possible issue I could see is a large farm/zoo/grinder nearby, but a couple of chunk-spawned mobs wouldn't help much in that case anyway. You should be ok!

I'm sorry for saying that. It's just that some people are like "REMOVE ZE MOE'S CREETURES HORSHES!" Dr. Zhark spent a lot of time on them, and so, I think he should keep them as his trophy.
Hmmmm.. a little wierd. I think Dr. Zhark just wanted to make them like a regular skeleton swordsman (that deals a heart of damage). To make up for that, he gave them 25 HP!
He should keep them as a trophy. But the old Horses should be, ehh, idk, maybe act extremely similar to the current Vanilla Horses?
I found a bug! I'm not sure if there's another thread to report them but I didn't see it on the mainpost.. Soo. Here it is. It's not really MAJOR or anything. but It has to do with the Big golems. When I was randomly adjusting my mobs spawning #'s everything was working fine but then when I tried moving on to Golems, I got a crash. ( Options > Global Mod Options > DrZhark's Mo Creatures > Mobs > MoCreatures > Big Golem)

Haven't seen that crash for a while. That was an issue a while back and I believe was fixed in the recent updates for 1.5.2
Just to let everyone know, I'm working on finishing our next update 5.2.5 in order to prep for our 1.6.2 release. This new update will the new "Pet Amulet" item which will be used to preserve your tamed pets before updating to 1.6.2 release. I've also been working on fixing a few other things like server commands. Here is a screenshot of the new server command "killall" that will be included with next 1.5.2 update :
Note: This command will NOT kill tamed MoCreatures.
The update should be finished by tomorrow hopefully then I can finish the 1.6.2 update.
