Really? You are all over the Atmosmobs thread yelling how much you hate Mo Creatures and Dr. Zhark and how Dr. Zhark is a @!"@""! because he wont let people include his mod in mod packs. "Wipe your b****s on Mo Creatures" was one of your comments wasn't it?
Mo Creatures and Atmosmobs are both great mods in different ways. We don't need people with their own agendas and grievances trying to turn things into an either / or situation that neither modder appreciates, wants or supports.
Well, Mo' Creatures is a great mod and all... it's just that Dr. Zhark said "no modpacks having my mod allowed", yet he let Bloodshot do so. The "wipe your butts on Mo' Creatures" was for people being dumb and asking to have a stupid fake mob in a realistic mod (AtmosMobs). It's not the mod I hate, it's the modder's personality I have something against.

I'm running a modded server and I've got an issue that just sprung up suddenly...certain mobs won't spawn, for instance, using an elephant or wyvern egg spawns nothing. On top of that, using a turtle egg spawns a turtle that acts, sounds, and has the health of an elephant, and my own pet elephant, who was NOT egg-spawned, turned into a turtle/is skinned to look like a turtle. What could cause this?
If he had a running update progress log, we could estimate the time it would take for the mod to fully update. Also, it would stop people from asking to update to 1.6.2. A good example of a mod that utilized this system was optifine.

I don't need to estimate the time it will take to update. I'm in no rush for it.
I also doubt it would stop people from asking about the update entirely.
I was playing and I used the custom spawner, I changed some settings and accidentally misspelled one of the groups; After exiting once I could not go back on without it crashing, I do not know if that is the problem though, please help!! I've tried everything I can think of!!

Hi, I know it is probably worthless posting here since this tread is about both mo creatures and its spawning system while people got a thousand mods running, its probably the most problem intensive tread on this site. Still, i'll add some more...
I deleted farlanders after i tested it on a fresh install along mo creatures as it scrapped the game and nobody offered solutions.
Now, i restarted my installation, added a few big mods which contained or dealt with mobs including monsters evolution and orespawn.
I had, like for farlanders, to choose between monster evolution and mo creatures since using them together gave me a "shutting down server" error.
Starting a new game (from a fresh backup setup since I make a test and backup at each mod i install) I spawned in front of an ocean with like, i'm not lying, a few thousand water creatures jumping and dying happily. While i'm usually seeing around 100 fps on my computer, that "show" threw it to its knees. But it survived and eventually things settled down with a billion dead fishes and golden stuff on the ocean floor, i couldn't resist and jumped, I can tell you I never filled my inventory that quickly in any minecraft game!
After a day of fooling around, I couldn't find anything that could give this result. Ah, farlanders too had a water problem, in its case there was nothing in water anywhere when i used it along mo creatures.
My verdict? Well, since 1.4.7 I always end-up deleting mo creatures as soon as i install more than 5 mods with mobs since in the end i prefer to play with farlanders, orespawn and monster evolution (as the current example) than replacing all those different mods with mo creatures and all the problems it will give me all along my game.
So i'll probably never ever play with mo creatures since i'll stay at 1.5.2 for a darn long time, and i should add that even though we are in a free country "they" say, I say Dr, Zark should make mo creatures independent of its mob spawning system. Furthermore, adfly should interdict such dependencies; how many people downloaded just the custom mob spawner? He want to profit from both? then he should make them independent, and there will be more people happy.
Finally, yes i respect the time effort, ingeniousity, skills etc involved in his work, still, it is the end result that count, and for me it is a fail, unless a new version quickly comes out for 1.5.2 that will work well, but you can bet that's too big a contract...

I seriously want to see thse in Mocreatures as Hostile Mobs but Tameable and Mountable. This would provide another great mount and enemy. With all the different colors, I could see lots of awesome possible abilities...I love all of these. I hope they happen and I highly suggest that they happen. These would be great predators/rivals for WYVERNS! That and it would give Ground Mounts a whole new awesome. I'm sick of new flying mounts! Let us scared-of-heights people have these awesome guys to ride!
I know an error that you can put in your post, if you don't have the custom mob spawner mod updated you can't create worlds in minecraft and sometimes you can't enter some worlds, I thought minecraft was crashed or something like that and now I realized that it was because custom mob spawner wasn't updated (sorry if I don't speak english very good :/)

I tried it again and it started working, I lost some progress but the important stuff is still there, thank you so very much!
