I absolutely love where this mod is going! Just one question about the plans for the TARDIS. on the real TARDIS there is a room for everything. How many rooms or areas will the TARDIS have and how hard will it be to get lost in it?

There is a possibility that you will get lost in the TARDIS however there will be transmat locations with a "Key Points" selection menu. Basically it opens up a non-specific map of the TARDIS interior with major locations highlighted that you can be transmated to.

We do not want to spoil the mystery of discovering the TARDIS interior by creating a full on map as part of the charm of the TARDIS is its mystery.

The TARDIS is going to be utterly massive beyond what you can imagine :)

It looks like you and I had a lot of the same ideas: I'm working on a similar (albeit much less professional) mod. Similar sonic screwdriver function, and regeneration cycle, etc. Anyways, what I might add, however, is that:

A. If you're going to use Cat People, you'll also need to add New Earth as a planet;
B. Sonic Screwdrivers dating all the way back to Mark I should be available;
C. Raxacoricofallapatorius, the iconic planet to Whovians that it is, should be available, along with the Slitheen as a mob;
D. Add the Ood as a passive mob;
E. Add the Impossible Planet, complete with the Devil and the Satan Pit;
F. Add Satellite 5/Gamestation;
G. Add fish fingers, custard, and fish fingers & custard (as a combined item, as opposed to the two previous separate ones) as food items;
H. Give the TARDIS a fuel bar that is very slow to deplete, but can only be recharged near a rift in time (however, falling into the rift deletes the world, making it like you never existed);
I. Add the Family of Blood as orbs that are rare but that can take over passive humanoid mobs and make them aggressive;
J. Add the 4th Doctor's scarf, the 9th Doctor's leather jacket, and the 10th Doctor's trench coat;
K. Add Clom and the Abzorbaloff;
L. Add the Shadow Proclamation and the Judoon;
M. Add Mannequins, which, in the presence of a Nestene Consciousness (Which would spawn in lava near the surface) become aggressive Autons;
N. Add living pig men which are passive unless attacked or a Dalek is nearby.
O. Add werewolves, which can only be repelled by mistletoe
P. Add the Empty Children
Q. Add the Vortex Manipulator
R. Add the Sonic Ray and the Compact Laser Deluxe
S. (In relation to Q and R) Add Jack Harkness
T. Add the End of the Universe and Professor Yana
U. Add the Face of Boe
V. Add the Master, who would drop his laser screwdriver, which can be used like the sonic screwdriver but can also deal damage to mobs (I know it's supposed to have isomorphic controls, but where's the fun in that?), and the Toclofane
W. Add the Dream Lord and the Dream State
X. Add the Medusa Cascade, which would naturally be swarming with Daleks.
Y. Add the Library and the Vashta Nerada (In other words, in the library, make the shadows appear in weird positions and move, and if you go into the shadows then you die.
Z. I noticed there will be several rooms in the TARDIS, make sure there's a swimming pool in the TARDIS library!

Sorry I know all this is a lot to ask, but I sincerely think all of these are good and, in due time, should be added. Also, I applied with that Google Docs thing, and while I don't have the skills to do a lot of things, I could save you better modders time on the easy things like base codes and simple materials, blocks, and items, like Dalekanium, and some mobs, such as the Ood. Also, as you can see, I'm great for coming up with ideas.

Lol the work Im doing right now is the only thing I have to do really. Besides every time I have tried to take a break in the past has lead to a iKingsSGC network wide fiasco.

I can not confirm nor deny easter egg features (and there are alot of them) but I will tell you that I would not be surprised if a cane that has sonic functionalities pops up :)

Hey There! That is a very nice list of features you have here. The DWCM is a story based hybrid overhaul of minecraft. We arent just grabbing everything from the show and smashing it in game but I can say several of the things you listed are involved in the Doctor Who Client Mod.

As far as the application you submited, I believe you are talking about the project that I took over and scrapped, that google doc you found on the thread for that dead project is not for the Mod Division and Doctor Who Client Mod :) If you would like please submit an application at the link below we are always looking for more java developers :)

Well, I can't fill that out now because all my proof is on my other computer D: but regardless, I would probably be best as a modeler. I'm great at making skins and designing items as pixel art from pictures. As far as modding itself, I can really only make pretty vanilla mods, adding items, blocks and mobs with no particularly fancy abilities and the such. However, if you'd like I can post a bunch of keyblades I made for my Kingdom Hearts based "KeyCraft" mod. I have every keyblade in the first Kingdom Hearts game, all completely original pixel art from pictures of the actual keyblades. Tell me if you want to see them (I know this isn't exactly proper format to apply, but like I said everything but the Keyblades was left on my old computer because flash drives can only hold so much.)

Details about Transcendental Dimensions:

Not much to say because its pretty obvious however.... I will mention a few things about it

  • A example of a transcendental Dimension is the TARDIS Interior
  • Only current Transcendental Dimension is the TARDIS Interior
  • Truly endless space where the new TARDIS interior will be placed after completion

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT TRANSCENDENTAL DIMENSIONS ARE NOT THE SAME AS THE BIGGER ON THE INSIDE FUNCTION!
