If you're still wondering whether or not to fork out the $7.49AUD on the Pocket Edition of Minecraft, consider trying the Lite version first.

The Lite version is now available on the iOS, located here..

Taken from the app store

This is the Lite version of Minecraft - Pocket Edition. Minecraft - Pocket Edition allows you to build on the go. Use blocks to create masterpieces as you travel, hangout with friends, sit at the park, the possibilities are endless. Move beyond the limits of your computer and play Minecraft everywhere you go.

I'd definitely get it when most of the bugs are fixed or after it have gone through a major update.

Even though it's only in "alpha" I have hope that it would update but price is to high for something that's free online.if the lower the price or even make it free it would be better for now until they make an update. I also don't see much hope for an iOS or android version because of the amount of things needed to be prosesed plus screen space and battery life. Even if there is a big update that makes the app exactly like the computer version it still would not be as great but only be just an added feature.

In my opinion thanks to the lite version ill probably hold out on this game till either a sale happens, or i see a decent update. the way the game is now just doesnt seem worth 7$, and you never know if it will get updated or not. The android version has been out for ages and has yet to see an update what wold change their mind with the ipod version?

Granted im not saying there wont be updates, but you just never know what might happen. Are people going to wait months, maybe years till an update comes for this game? Im not inpatient, but i would like to know if/when updates comes out before hand. I dont buy a game to what it "might" become. i buy it as it is now as with any other game.

I know my opinion will be hated on because i dont think this game is perfect as other people make it out to be, but its going to need a pretty big update till i find it satisfying to my needs. I mean you can like the game, and enjoy it for what its worth now, but people on here seem like if you dont like the game as it is now you arent a fan of minecraft and thats just sad in my eyes.

They have already released minor updates. Which means, they were telling the truth.

I already downloaded the Lite version, and it's not too bad. I'm considering getting the full version, but is it like the PC game in which I buy it once, then get later updates for free?

So far from what they are saying, yes it is. It is suppose to have Survival mode being added sometime in the near future. But just be patient.

They said survival mode is coming soon. So, depending if the price stays or increases, it is worth every penny. At least, my pennies. :3

What does everyone hate about bugs? Unless they make the game unplayable, I don't mind bugs. Some of them are funny, like dumb sheep.
