Hey, I'm just on this server, and I don't wanna wait hours to get nether warts to grow! It's really too bad they can't grow in the real world. If you have found a way, please comment. Thank you.

Nether warts will still grow in the normal world.
Just 2x slower than wheat without water.
Go to the nether and it should grow like wheat.

No, they grow REALLY slow in the nether...

I wish there was, like placing Glowstone around them would act as a growth lamp or something.

What I do is first harvest from multiple wart-rooms, then make a large soul sand field to plant the new stuff in. Doing that I can get nether warts almost as fast as blaze rods.

Grow them:
-in the nether
-next to burning netherrack

They seem to grow to full size in about 7 minutes when growing next to fire.

No , Nether wart ll not grow in normal world, it ll just popup
For faster growing you need to light the area to max , best with glow stone
just like that

ive been testing on nether warts and i think you should have eaither lava glowstone torches or fire next to them      buildingwithD aproves

The wiki says a lava source adjacent to the block the netherwart is on causes it to grow faster. this has been working for me. I usually have a row of 20 soul sand next to a wall, and fill the blocks under the wall with lava.

They growth speed is fine in the Nether. But what you need to do is create some activities for yourself in the Nether. Farm ghasts with a bow, kill zombie pigmen for gold, make a castle, farm blaze, just find something to be doing while your waiting for them to grow. I also do all my potion crafting in the Nether because that adds a bit more time to it.

Nether Warts only grow in the Nether and nothing else affects their growth. Lava/fire/netherrack will not speed up their growing time.
