I have been wondering. How will multiplayer be run on the xbox? Will people need to buy a server? Will it be random servers? Will there be a server list to look through with favorites and other options? Whitelist? Will it be in the game at all? just a couple questions i have. Tell me what you think.

I would think the online mp would be close to ForttressCraft's MP. Where your map is auto online and you can set it to block other players. But i think it will have more options seeing minecraft is boss and fortesscraft is not.

it will probably be local hosted by the person who sets up a server, such as private multiplayer/lobbies in numerous games

Your Xbox 360 will be the server. I'm sure they will let people host their own worlds and make a huge server list for people to choose from. At least, something along those lines.

dont forget, to use multiplayer you WILL need a xbox live GOLD account.
i just hope that it may be possable to LAN your 360's together and not need GOLD, because im hoping to have 2 360's in the house when i move out (me and the BF) and im not going to pay for gold for 1 game hehe

So... will they need to be on your friends list so you can invite them to join? Sometimes i like to play with people i dont know and mix it up a little bit.

You can only play with your friends. No servers at all.
