I made a online program called Skin Finder a few hours ago. It lets you find the skin of any minecraft user just by typing in their username (yes, even  :Notch: ). You can also edit it with NovaSkin and Miners need cool shoes.

I want to add more options in the future, but when you edit it with NovaSkin you can make a papercraft, buy a model of it, and so forth.

I know stuff like this already exists, but mine is unique because it runs online and you can edit the skin with various tools. Tell me what you think!

Link to the Skin Finder

Edit: Had to update the link because we moved the site, forgot I had this thread :D

I just finished Skin Finder v2. It is mostly aesthetic changes, but also has the ability to apply the skin to your Minecraft account with a button.

You are quite welcome sir. Now I can sell whatever comes out of Notch's brain.

If you mean Apply a skin that you have on your computer, then not in Skin Finder. You can do it with Minecraft's website though. Go to your Minecraft profile (here) and click the Upload skin button. Hope that helped :)

How about an auto decorator... or sumfin... click a button and you get an auto monocle!, or dovahkiin helmet, etc. Made to work as if the eyes are where steve's eyes are.

Due to the way it already works, and my limits as a web developer, this can't be implemented at this time :/

Yes, but this one works on the web instead of an application and sends the image to editors.

Do you really consider this tool to be necessary? It appears to me to be much easier to open the following URL: s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftSkins/<playername>.png
