k every time I joined my server it says something about not gzip format but my friend can join perfectly

All my plugins still seem to work including: WorldEdit, Essentials, WorldGuard, Essentials etc. I haven't had any issues with plugins .

I fixed it by deleting all the players data.

Like I said before, I don't recommend downloading this - this is 1.9pre5 with code removed just so it won't kick you.

Everyone getting an error with "Internal exception: java.io.IOException: Not in GZIP Formant" - That means your map is corrupted in one way or another. Which will be because of this version of Craftbukkit.

@OP I have no worries about it not working, I know it works. It's just not going to work as well as it should.

The link to this was posted on the Bukkit Forums, it has been removed since by Moderators. Only official craftbukkit builds from http://ci.bukkit.org a recommend for use on your server and are allowed to be posted on the forums.


Here is my advice:

Be patient. Wait for the real release. When there is an update, it will be posted on the from page of the Bukkit Website

It appears that when I try to put a Bow in my inventory, I get disconnected with "End of stream". Reconnect, it keeps disconnecting me and I have to delete my dat file. I was in creative mode.

Could this be the bad item? Someone else try it.

That's because this isn't a real Minecraft 1.0 server—it's based on a Beta 1.9-pre5 server. In 1.0, Mojang added durability to bows, which is why the server disconnects you. I would wait for the official release from http://bukkit.org/

Anyways, at least I had enough time to re-build a spawn for 1.0.0 before it stopped working for me, I have my other members working on it.

OK Guys. If you get an internal java error about gzip or pointer. Its because bukkit has problems with enchantments. If you have an enchanted item in your inventory, you can't log in, and if you have an enchanted item in a chest, trying to open the chest will crash the game, and if there is an enchanted item laying on the ground near you, you can't log in. Theres something wrong with bukkit and enchantments that bukkit needs to fix! Bukkit rules otherwise! But please hurry with the bug fixes because my server sucks without plugins.

Maybe you guys are simply unable to read. But I'll repeat it for you again anyways:

I hope that was clear enough. And no bukkit doesnt have "Problems" with enchantments, they simply didnt include them in the OFFICIAL release yet.
