Since releasing the post I noticed that Bukkit have a DevBukkit edition on their site which will allow you to run Bukkit on a 1.0.0 server. Check the link it leads to the Bukkit site so that is an official build. Bukkit is a powerful piece of server software released by the Bukkit team. This build is not on their main page but is on their DevBukkit page on their site. Feel free to download it! It works fine for me and all my plugins still work.

Bukkit now have a RB for 1.0 on their site so go to bukkit.org

http://ci.bukkit.org...uccessfulBuild/

Thanks Bukkit Team!

Check out this video by Mrunstopable25, his tutorial on installing Bukkit for 1.0.0 - Very helpful!

I will not be replying to any help questions, check the BukkitDev page or Wiki for installation information.

I'd post the IP for my server so you can check Bukkit on 1.0.0 but I don't think it's allowed in the forum rules.

Also if you get an error 'invalid server key' Mollstam is working on this it's a bug with the login but setting your server to offline mode will fix this! Or you can just try and login a few times and eventually it will work, the issue also occurs on Vanilla servers it isn't a Bukkit issue!

Doesn't work. All it says is "Server responded with an invalid server key." Second time I try it takes forever to download terrain.:P :P :P

The Invalid Server Key error is an error on all Minecraft 1.0.0 servers Bukkit or Vanilla. @mollstam tweeted it's a bug and will be fixed also it may be taking forever to load the terrain as the server has a low amount of RAM or the map is massive.

"Server responded with an invalid server key." happens with 1.0.0 sometimes.
It's really annoying isn't it?

It will happen maybe 1/5 attempts to login till mollstam fixes the bug.

The only real fix is to put your server in offline mode but that can be risky for big servers without anti-griefing plugins.

Are you using PuTTY or a similar program to run a start.sh or a .sh file?

Maybe it's your client or the server is still running another jar?
