DreamScape

Hi this is my first custom map, its called Dreamscape its got a very basic plot of someone who "Wakes up" in a dream and can't get out and needs to find a way... and when you complete he does.

The map would take someone who's good at finding and noticing things about 1 hour but longer for those who can't.


Just saying that if you like this map (once you have played it) be sure to click the button at the bottem of the page!

IF YOU ARE GOING TO PLAY THIS AND HAVE A MINECRAFT FORUMS ACCOUNT, EVEN IF ITS SOMETHING BAD, STILL POSTS COMMENTING would be a huge help!

This is a map that has Parckour (jumping puzzles and swimming), aswell as some puzzles and the plot is mysterious because of the fact that by the end of this first part you still don't completely understand what's happening, but after the second map you will find out some "interesting" facts... (It is quite complicated, a bit like inception! (Thanks to KronicElephant for that idea))

RULES!
You can only destroy Gold and Red Wool Blocks
You can only place Gold blocks,
You must not use beds in any situation,
Obviously you cannot cheat in any way, food is provided,
You will have to look really hard for things,
And do not destroy the bed at the beginning
Also collect as many red wool blocks as you can, for bonus points! (If you get all 4 it means you properly complete the map)
And you MUST play on peaceful!

Btw.. even if you don't want to play the map, if you go to the ADFLY page it makes me money! and I would be very great-full! ;D

DREAMSCAPE 1
GETTING OUT THE HOUSE
Ok you go into the kitchen room, take everything from the furnace's, get into the attic by jumping of the stone side's, onto the table, then from there jump into the attic, search for the coal and go back down once you have found it, then place the coal in a furnace and smelt the gold ore you should have in your inventory, wait around for a minute, then take it out and add it to your stack of gold ingots you already have, you then go to the fireplace and click through the fire, you will find a crafting table, craft a gold block, go to the entrance of the house and look to your right and you will see a hole and a sign, place the gold at the back of the hole, Return in the direction of your bed room and you will see a passage has appeared, leading you into the bathroom!

THE GARDEN AND THE TOILET!
In the bath-room you notice that the toilet isnt flushing, so you go into the garden, you search the garden until you find the shed, but you can't get in because the gates are locked, you then notice ledges of the garden walls, so you go up the stairs of the court-house-like-thing and jump of it onto the tree its next to, you then jump from the tree to the wall edge and do parckour untill you get to the bush, you then go around the bush to the highest point, you then jump onto the statue and then onto the other side of the hedge, go down the stair-like-hedge and jump onto the next tree, jump from the tree to the edge of the wall and do a bit more parckour, and then you climb down the ladder of the shed-place. I recommend you pull BOTH levers but you only HAVE to pull the "Water and Sewage" one, but you will need the other one later! So you go back to the toilet, flush the chain and jump down the toilet, you then go into the sewers!

THE SEWERS AND THE LAB!
Ok, Once your in the SEWERS you have to search around for pipes/drains that you are able to swim up, there should be two, and up one you should find 2 iron ingots and up the other you should find 3 iron ingots and a golden apple, (The golden apple is a distraction), you then find a crafting table and make a minecart. Now you go back to the courthouse-thing in the garden, where you can see sugar-cane, you look behind it and see minecart tracks, you place your minecart on the unpowerd, power rail, get in it and pres the button!
Now you are in the lab, you go through the passage and go to the "Reactor" room. Now you can do this in any order but I recomend you do it in this order, (BTW you need too go to a few rooms) 1: Go too the room to the right of the front of the reactor and too the left of the passage, this room explains why you need gold blocks... and you get a free one from the dispencer at the end of it. 2: Go to the portal room and look behind the portals, you should see a passage leading to a room, where its dark, dont pull the obvious lever at the beginning of the room YET, first go to the front right of the room and look in a dispencer in the floor, you should find 4 gold ingots... then go to the leaver and turn it on, this will "turn the lights on", after that go through the allyway at the back, left of the room and you will enter a maze, it times you to get too the end and if you dont beat it you may need to restart the maze again, when you get too the end look inside the chest and you should get 5 more gold ingots, go to a crafting bench and craft a gold block! 3: Go back to the reactor and this time go to the room on the left of the reactor room, and you will have to press the button on the left, and "Race the Redstone" to the iron door, so you can entre the next room, in the next room you are given some slime-balls (lol) and you need to go to the ice place and aim them at the holes with the pressure pad/plate in them, when all the redstone torches go off a iron door will open at the end of the room and that will lead you to a gold block...

Ok, now you have all 3 gold blocks you go to the reactor and place them all in the other 3 modules that are empty, that will open a piston door behind the reactor... go into it and I think you should know what to do from there.. (if you dont post it on this thread and I will be quite suprised!) I hope this was helpfull and I hope your waiting for part 2!, Its even more confusing...

Great map, there are a few spelling mistakes around but still a great map, the only problem was the lever on the glowstone does not work at the end

Spelling mistakes in the map?, and thank you for the advise about the glow-stone, do you mean it actually doesn't work or it doesn't look good? because when i did it again (just now) it did work? and again thank you very much:)

the lever poped off the ground and the red stone underneth broke apart as well when i went to investage and so the tnt did not explode

Sooo you didn't see the ending?

(the ending was a completely different house in a completely different place)?

i saw it by fixing the circit by collecting a few blocks to replace the glowstone
