Latest texture pack selector-compatible version (0.1.6) @ lucidpack.com. :Water:

Or, if the website is down for whatever reason, you can get it here. =)

Small update: Worked on a workbench & chest, preliminary iron door and glass:

Any suggestions for the glass? Every time I try adding more than the frame it seems to get too busy.

Nice work! It looks like a mix between some of the texture packs, like a mix between detailed and blocky, which we don't see enough of.

Wow really nice :D

It looks bright and cheery, a good contrast to most of the skins on this forum :Diamond: Good going keep it up!  :)

I don't usually comment on topics, but this one is really worth it. Nice textures you got there! I can't wait until it's finished! A little change that I suggest is that you make the plank a LITTLE bit darker/browner so it fits the workbench, chest and the door, and do a LITTLE more noise on the grass but without the darker spots on it. Of course this is just a suggestion! :Red:

And again, I LOVE it!

I think the glass looks fine as it is, it's easy to tell what it is but it doesn't have any lines obscuring vision. I also love the lighter cobblestone, I always find the usual stuff so dark and oppressive when I build with it. In fact I like how the whole pack (so far) is bright and cheery, so many textures on these forums are dark and gloomy that it's nice to see an alternative to those! :D

Another suggestion is, make both sides of the wooden door's ''window'' look dark.

Ooh I just noticed how messy the light trim looks (with double doors especially). I'll try that as well as your other suggestions. =)

Hey again! I've just tested the pack. I don't like the wood (not the planks, the wood from the trees). It kinda is too similar to the dirt. I'd make it more brownish and add more ''pores''. The grass looks really too plastic so change the grass please! ... And yet another suggestion is that you try to go for the ''wave'' effect on the sand:

-mod snip of image, it was causing malware alerts, I believe this was accidental-

Lets say one of those waves on each block. If you are going to go for that effect on the sand, be sure it's smooth and tiles well with other sand blocks.
And the glass is okay. :iapprove:

@Ducci Thanks, I'll look into your suggestions!

Here are 3 variations of wood planks:

1. The original:

2. Matching the workbench & chest:

3. 50/50 split:

Not sure which one to go with. #2 looks a bit too busy, #3 seems like a good combination. Thoughts?

A couple of updates:

First, I worked on the grass a bit, I'm still not entirely satisfied with it but I think it looks better than before:

1. Old:

2. New:

Thoughts on the new grass? :Notch:

Also, a prototype furnace is done:
Posted Image

A bit bland at the moment but it'll do for now.

I'm still working on the wavy sand, it's been a bitch so far (due to tiling & various other reasons) but I'm getting there.

I'll be the first to say this, if you still have the other wood textures saved, place it above the block breaking "animation" as an alternate texture like the other artists do.

Good idea! I'll post an updated terrain.png. Ultimately I'm planning on creating a customizer (Painterly style) so I can include lots of options, but this will do for now.

Edit: Updated with alternate wood & darker cobblestone variations (as well as the old grass):
