Heyho,

since the new launcher came out in beta, I have this problem:


Win7 x64
Java 6 u29/7 (both tested tested)

I tried already to change RAM and Graphiccard, but it don't help.


.minecraft folder deleted
Cache deleted
minecraft.jar (LINUX) tested (same error)

I can play via browser

Tried another launcher too, but no effect :/

You can try skipping the login by launching through CMD...
Download this minecraft launcher (copy pasted from minecraft.net), place it in your C://users/<username>/ directory, and open CMD.
afterwards, type in "java -Xmx1024M -Xms512M -cp Minecraft.jar net.minecraft.LauncherFrame <username> <password>"
whilst filling in <username> and <password> accordingly.

Well LWJGL is what is used for input or something... I'm by no means a computer technician, but I'm good at troubleshooting. I have to leave no so I suggest googling the errors you got and looking for a solution that way. Launching from CMD is the best way to pinpoint errors and find solutions, so I would stick to that.

Uninstall all java versions on your PC, ESPECIALLY JAVA 7, when I have java 7 installed, minecraft does that, so just uninstall java and install 6 u 29

Yes!

Looks like the problem is suddenly fixed. (I can play, but the launcher is grey anyway ^^)
