This mod brings back the old sounds of Minecraft that were removed on 13/11/11 (11/13/11 for Americans)

Posted Image

The point of this mod is to restore the old sounds,

not remove the new ones.

I will not remove the bone cracking sound, as it is a new sound.

I will not remove the eating sounds, as it is a new sound.

I will not remove the tool breaking sound as it is a new sound.

I will not remove the lava sounds, as they have been there for a long time, and have only recently been implemented.

This mod REQUIRES the

Videos

Installation.

1. Install the Sound Packs mod.

2. Download the sound pack.

3. Extract the contents of the .rar file into "%appdata%/.minecraft/Soundpacks"

4. Start Minecraft.

5. Figure it out.

6. Enjoy.

The door sounds, explosion sounds, chest sounds, fence gate sounds, (maybe) creeper sounds, and some others were all replaced today. I made this mod to bring the old sounds back. I like the old ones better than the new ones.

There was an update today? I haven't gotten it yet (Maybe it's delayed in the US or something) but I'm sure I'm going to hate the new sounds, so I'll download. For some reason, Minecraft wouldn't be complete without it's door slamming and explosions. Wait... did you say creepers had their sounds changed? Creepers are a symbol of Minecraft, and so is SSSSssSSSssss! How could Notch?

Did you follow my instructions? Install Sound Pack Mod first.

Then take the one file in my .rar file and put it in your .minecraft\Soundpacks folder. Nuff said.
