Dear Admin;

It is my sincere request, as a user of this forum, be more courteous towards the related parties. I understand you may have other things specified in your job profile, which occupy your time, and this may be a bit distracting to you. But if you are going to reply to a thread, especially one about grievances, it is expected that you show understanding of our inconvenience.

Now that you have made it clear that you may or may not fix this feature in the foreseeable future, I shall follow your suggestion about spending half a minute extra and bookmarking the posts, without the expectation that the feature will be fixed.

PS: I took less than 2 min.s to write this post which seems proper (at least to me) morally, socially, legally and courtesy-wise.

It was just a friendly suggestion on my part. I know that it is a somewhat bad suggestion but it is still a work around. As for what is wrong, I shall leave that to our owners and server crew.

Yeah...

I have 10 million bookmarks already in the ancient lousy bookmark system in my browser. And having only used Browser bookmarks for the last almost 20 years it had just never dawned on me to use them... <sarcasm>

Browser bookmarks don't even come close to replacing the functionality and convenience of a properly working modern filtered forum system for heavy users, for a number of reasons. But yes, thanks for the reminder, some of us may indeed be as stupid as we seem.

btw: Even Lynx has bookmarks, I wouldn't consider it my first choice in navigation though.

Plus, I post from at least two different locations/computers regularly. Having things working properly here in this one place makes participating in the forum much more attractive and "comfortable".

The feature in question has started working consistently now. It had started two days before as well, then it stopped, now it has been working properly for some time now.

My posts have stopped registering properly since the 5th of December. When I make new posts, I can see them under My Content only during the day I posted them.

And...it lasted for a week

It worked yesterday, now I'm getting posts I made when I first join, and posts I made just a couple hours ago, nothing in the middle. Curse really should know how the database works before trying to be all big name like. I know amateurs - for example a law student with heavy coursework load that does this better, in literally fraction of time (like a day).

You guys should take your business elsewhere...unless this is free, that is.
