The Storyline:


A voice booms over the loudspeaker
"Welcome to the Stratosphere. Islets from the world, suspended in pure calm and relaxation. If you look to your left you will see the Isle of Frost, one of our main attracti-"
The voice cuts out mid-sentence and anxious chatter fills the plane
"Holy S*** the left engine's ON FIRE"
Several mortal screams come from the front of the plane.
You jump up from your seat and walk towards the crowd of people, out the window to the left is an entire plane wing engulfed in vivid flames.
You sprint to the front of the plane, the captain is lying dead on the plane controls, and a solitary light is flashing blood red to the right of the dashboard. You press several buttons in anxious haste, nothing happens. As you lean over to see out the front window, you suddenly realise the plane is heading directly towards earth, screams of death and cries of woe come from the passenger area, you have no choice but to save yourself. Your human instinct takes hold of you, you feel yourself take a fire extinguisher from the wall, with it you smash the front window; leaving a jagged hole to escape. Several booming explosions come from the rear of the plane, your pulse raises as you place your left hand on the dashboard. Fire wraps around you as you vault out the gap, you turn, and see the plane engulfed in flames. As you land on the soft grass, a shattering explosion rips through the air. Fire and debris rains around you, a sea of flame. Large amounts of burning flesh and clothing float like feathers in the morning breeze. A sudden sense of calm overwhelms you, your breathing slows, your pulse halts. You sit. And think.

Welcome to the Stratosphere.

Get 64 Jack'o'lanterns
Make 128 bread
Make a Slime Farm (Hint: Mojang are very close friends of the slimes)
Make a mob spawner/ exp farm
Make an AUTOMATIC mushroom farm (Harvested by pressing a button)

Crafting:

Make a nether portal
Make an enchantment table
Get a silk touch pick, of any type of pickaxe
Make 5 eye of enders
Make AT LEAST 5 different potions
Make a cake
Make an iron block
Make a gold block
Make something cool with redstone
Make 5 magma cream
Build your own house with the testificates
Connect to all the islands
Make a rail link to at least one island

Spoiler

This is the official Stratosphere Survival Guide, listing the hidden secrets, and extra items, as well as dungeons and other things.

The Beginning:

Hidden Chests:
The first island has a hidden chest above the surface, this should be fairly easy to find.

Dungeons:
There are 2 dungeons, one has loot.

Extras:
There is a hidden vein of sand, as well as a lump of clay.
There are also 4 lava blocks encased in stone.

The Isle Of Ice

Hidden Chests:
The isle of ice contains 1 hidden chest above the surface.

There are 2 chests found in the ice caverns, and one in the temple of ice.

Dungeons:
There is a network of tunnels, called the ice caverns, the entrance is to the middle of the island. There is also a temple at the bottom of the island.

The Volcano:


Hidden Chests:
The volcano has 2 hidden chests.

Dungeons:
There is a dungeon maze at the bottom of the volcano crater.

The Abandoned City:

Hidden Chests:
The abandoned city has many hidden chests.
One on each floor of mojang. One in the basement of mojang
There is a chest in bethesda, and also 2 in primark.
The sewer has 3 hidden chests.
The Temple has 1.

Dungeons:
The City has a sewer network, a temple, and 3 buildings, if these count as dungeons.

Extras:
There is an easter egg to be found if you follow 2 clues in mojang.
It is also possible to set up a slime farm here.

The Dark Marshes:


Hidden Chests:
The Dark Marshes has hidden chests to be found in most houses of the village of the damned.

Dungeons:
There is one dungeon network.

Extras:
There is a very valuable item found towards the bottom of the island.

The Oasis Of Notch:

Hidden Chests:
The oasis of notch has 3 hidden chests.
The first can be found in the tent.
There are 2 in the temple of notch.

Dungeons:
There is a dungeon network.

Extras:
The Oasis makes it possible to complete the game.

Explore the sewers - Dig below the road on the city isle

I had a stupid zombie cross over my first one and i lost it

It is not the finsihed Map but there are 2 secret rooms. and some rarer ores.

It's great so far. I'm fairly sure I've cleaned out nearly every resource, however it seems that there is no way currently to get into the nether. There are only 6 possible obsidian blocks on the map.
