Despite minimal actual participation of the band, I am a total sucker for the Yellow Submarine movie :3
And like the baseless fabric of this vision, the cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces, the solemn temples, the giant Screen itself, all of which we inherit shall dissolve. And, like an insubstantial pageant faded, leave not a byte behind.

Even though they were kind of the boy band of the sixties, they were fucking excellent.

I have an old original print vinyl of Magical Mystery Tour that I found in an old abandoned house a few years back.
Nothing of me is original. I am the combined effort of everybody I've ever known.

The Beatles are the greatest band of the 20th century, as well as the first decade of the 21st. Who can know what the future holds... but I predict none shall surpass them.

It helps not to post things that are totally opinion as if theyre facts.

The Beatles are just...the best. They were so versatile, so talented, and so influential.

Yes, this is true, but it depends on what genre you're talking about. As for me i'd look at something more-of like
metallica as the top influential band [i don't really].

You get what im saying?

Yea but the Beatles essentially did every genre that was around in their time, and some new ones as well.

This is like totally what i was trying to avoid with my comment, but it depends on what your favorite genre is, and how much the beatles actually influenced it compared to other major contributors to that genre.

Say i'm a metal fan.
Maybe the beatles minorly influenced it, but metallica definitely influenced it 100x more, thus i'd like metallica way more.
Thanks,

The Beatles are pretty awesome. Most of their music is great, and can appeal to different people for different reasons.

Anyone else think that "I've Just Seen a Face" is one of the most underrated Beatles's songs? It doesn't seem to be acknowledged that much, while other songs like "Hey Jude" and "Come Together" are.

The only thing I don't like about them is their "hippy" phase and how they spawned thousands of "revolutionary" liberals who hang around outside coffee shops with French berets.

The musics excellent , though.

Yay agreement. :3

And that's not to say that the more popular Beatles songs are bad (AKA the "WEL ITZ POPULAR SO DAT MAKEZ IT BAD LOL" argument). It just doesn't seem to get the recognition it deserves.

I think it may also be because of the length-it's only about 2 minutes long, while other Beatles songs are much longer.
