NEW!! The website for this program (still building it)

Program information
The program I have made, makes automatic backups of your server,
while it is running (or shut down). It has got a working update function.
I have tested it, but if an error occures, please tell me (post it plz).

There are a few settings, but not many at the moment.
At the moment I am rewriting the program in C# (almost done!)

Do you have a feature that I must add? Please tell me!

Coming up more!

I am rewriting it in C# and later in Java as a plugin for craftbukkit.
I hope someone likes my program, so it has actually sense to make it :P

Firstly, great work, it seems to work very well (On my other PC's :) ). :D

I'm using Microsoft .Net Framework 4 and get an exception when I start the server, after researching the error code MC Server Autobackup w/ .Net 4.0 error, I found this may be a solution >>

http://connect.micro...ss-this-command

Edit: NEVERMIND! It wasn't working because my Minecraft path was invalid.

You should probably add a catch though xD, and another thing to,

When selecting the Minecraft folder as you specify, I run into a exception.
Only when only selecting the world folder to backup, do I not.

at first, thanks for your reply and bug report :)

second point :P
I am working on what you said.
And the second problem, yes thats true. I did not run into that problem, because of my way of testing...

If you dont put the program into your minecraft folder, the problem should not exist, i guess

right now I am working on some problems, like making some checkingsystems.
Will be added in the next update ;)
I dont think the update function will be added, it takes a little longer than expected (total rewrite in C#)

I see, I assumed it needed to be in the same folder out of habit :o xD.

Do you think you can add support for loading a minecraft_server.jar rather then the Minecraft_server.exe? And perhaps add greater time periods for backup up, like every day / two days for example :).

well, you dont have to :)
but if you want to, give it a try :P

And i'm trying to build-in the compatibility for .jar files, but it gives a java runtime error (it cannot initialise the java virtual machine on my machine...) I do not know how to fix this at the moment... if somebody knows how to fix this problem, I would like to hear the solution! :)

and about the backup period: I will ad an button so you are able to switch between minutes and hours (if you think this is the right solution)

EDIT: added the ability to choose between hours and minutes in version 3.0.2 (already uploaded)
EDIT 2: removed version 3.0.2  because the new timer function does not work properly. will be fixed in version 3.0.3! (or 3.1)

Updated the program to version 3.0.4 (Beta).
Fixed many bugs. 1 known bug remaining...
(after pressing back button while running and press start again (2nd time or more), the timer works a little bit strange...)

This is the last thing that must be fixed. May be fixed this weekend, otherwise by the end of next week...

May I ask why you're using C# rather than PowerShell?

My window is stuck to a specific size and i cant resize  it to see everything in the window. I got it to work just now and hopefully it works great but could there be/is there a way to fix this window thing so i am able to see everthing in the window?
