Defined

Have you ever thought to yourself "Gee, Minecraft looks a bit flat and bland, I wish it would have some subtle depth to it!"? Well think no more! With the Defined texture pack every block is given a little bit more depth to make them look just that bit better! At first glance they may look just like the default textures, but on closer inspection they're quite a bit different... Don't believe me? Have some screenshots:

Downloads!

Download the 64x texture pack here (Best quality): http://adf.ly/3vP9h -

Download the 32x texture pack here (faster): http://adf.ly/3vPAu

Installation
1. Download the version of the texture pack you want above

2. Place the .zip into your Minecraft's texture pack folder

3. You MUST Download MCPatcher and patch your Minecraft for HD Textures. As an alternative, you can also use Optifine which, on top of being an amazing mod, supports HD textures!

NOTE: If you do NOT patch your Minecraft, you will see fire in the grass and water/lava in the Redstone Ore. Compasses and Clocks won't work either, so patching it is a MUST.

4. Load up Minecraft, and in the Texture Pack menu select "Defined.zip" or "Defined32.zip"

5. Enjoy! If you like the pack, be sure to click the green + at the bottom of this post!

Mods:

FINISHED MODS:
PremiumWood - 100%
Randomite - 100%

Connected Textures - 100%

Hmm looks nice, very nice HD default, a very good way of making my deep mines rich and beautiful again :) +1

EDIT: Also and you don't have to say that you NEED MCPatcher, because you can also use Optifine, which i actually prefer.

This actually required a lot more work than "one filter". You've gotta make sure it doesn't tile, make sure you apply the bevel the right amount, make sure the brightness levels are correct, make sure that the right parts are bevelled in the right way, etc. One texture could take up to 45 minutes to create :I

Thanks for the positive comments, guys! :D

That shouldn't take too long, so I'll see what I can do. Bear in mind that you won't get quite the same effect, though!

EDIT: 32x pack is done and linked in the first post!

I don't really like it, it's too close to the Default. Good work though :).

if you want a really good minecraft texture pack look up faithfulcraft. It's the default TP only slightly better.

Traditional beauty is a lot sharper, and has a lot more contrast than my texture pack. I feel like my pack has a much smoother feel, and I personally prefer smooth over sharp. I haven't ripped off TB, but use whichever you like, I don't mind. Just please don't just criticize, and if you do I'd appreciate some suggestions, too. :)

I've added a note regarding Traditional Beauty to the bottom of the first post, since the issue has been raised with me a few times.
