The Big Monster Run is a new map for you to enjoy. Fight through a huge, hand-dug mine, collecting items from hidden chests and trying to get back alive before your friends.



I have created some simple rules and posted them in a PDF here.

Basically, there's no spawning or flying and you shouldn't need to break any blocks. The instructions and path should all be self-evident as you go round, but you may also get lost down by bedrock if you don't pay attention due to the miasma (dark fog) that may disorientate you if you're fighting mobs. You should be able to use any texture pack. I made it with Good Morning Craft, but the walk-through videos were all done in default (they will be available soon).

Here is the trailer for the adventure, and I will be posting further videos of a run through by the lads from M1neTube soon.

Well done on an excellent map (and adventure game) I really enjoyed playing it and I hope many others do too..

Quick Overview Update

Just to let you know, there are 42 (or was it 43?) chests hidden throughout the map, all within 10 steps of the path, or in line-of sight.

The texture pack I used when building and for screen grabs was GoodMorningCraft, but the map looks just as epic in the default texture, as you will see in the walk-through videos coming soon (perhaps that should be run-through!).

Thank you for your kind comment, I had great fun creating the map and then making it into a game, I lost count of the chests at one time, but I think I've found them all again now.

Cheers for your comment, but it's not only a race, but a test of survival and observation. Keep an eye open for the Redstone Torches. Good luck with your next run through!
