Minecraft Expansion Pack

Hey there, Minecrafters!

This is the Work In Progress page of the official mod: Minecraft expansion Pack!

The idea of the mod came from jathew. He searched people to start a team with, to visualise the idea's he had in mind for a mindblowing, HUGE mod! His creativaty in making up things to implement in the mod, combined with people who make mods, makes the perfect team for creating a mod like this!

The Team

The idea's

Here is a list of all the idea's to implement in the mod (STILL EXPANDING EVERY FEW DAYS!!):

Foods:

Spoiler

Red Pepper

(found naturaly spawning. Can be farmed)

This is a hot pepper. if you eat it, you will be set on fire?(discussing that part) but will regain 4 food points.

Red Pepper flakes

(made by just placing a red pepper in the crafting table. will make 4)

When you grind Red pepper, you get this. this is a vital indgridient to anything spicy.

Cabbages

(found naturaly spawning. Can be farmed)

Eat it to gain 3 hunger bar. No effect.

-

Unfermented kimchi

(Made by placing Red Pepper flakes around a Cabbage like a jukebox. makes one)

Fills 7 hunger bar. 50/50 chance of setting you on fire?(Will be discussed!)

Fermented Kimchi

(made by placing it in a fermenter)

Fills 9 hunger bar. 25% chance of setting you on fire?(Will be discussed!)

Chili Sauce

(Not sure how to craft it yet, but will contain Red pepper Flakes)

Another vital ingrediant to spicy foods

Chocolate syrup

(Not sure how to craft it yet, but will involve cocoa beans)

This will make chocolate' food'

Chocolate bar

(Chocolet syrup over sugar)

Heals 1 hunger point.

Valentine Chocolet

(pink dye over Chocolate Bar)

Heals 2 hunger points. When eaten, makes every animal in a (?) radius in breeding mode

Tacos

(Not sure how yet. contains Chili sauce and ground meat)

Heals 3 hunger points.

Ground Meat

(Made by placing any cooked meat on the crafting grid)

Make this for burgers and tacos and...

Dimensions:

Mushroom dimension

(Portal found in mushroom biome)

Basically a Nether-oid realm only with tighter caves. Home to the wall-shroom and the glow-shroom. Watch out for mushroom gaurdians!

Basically a modern-looking Citys with NPCs in them. Buildings include Apartments, factories, and parks.

Turkey

Neutral mobs, when attacked, it attacks back with 2 damage. It is worth it though to get turkey meat.

Instant Stone Ore

(Little less rare then diamond, max veins of 7)

Drops 1 Instant stone ore block.

Instant Gems

(made by smelting Instant stone ore. makes Instant Gem Tools)

This is a crafting item for various Instant gem items (Tools, etc.)

Instant Stone

(Place instant gems Like how you would craft a diamond block.)

Mainly for storage of multiple gems.

Small Shed Generator

(not sure how to make yet)

When placed, makes a small shed with a workbench, furnace, and chest.

Workshop Generator block

(not sure how to make yet)

Makes a bigger version of the small shed with a basement

Lamp

(involves glowstone and redstone)

Basically glowstone, only toggleable by redstone.

Atmospheric Lamp

(not sure how to craft yet)

Disposes a nice light level, nice for houses. Will have a gui for toggling how much light it produces.

The Implemented Features of the mod

Here is another list, this one contains all already implemented features of the mod. There are more things added, but they will be kept secret until the final release!!

Foods:

Red pepper

Red pepper is generated througout the world, next to the plants. When broken off of the plants, they drop 1-2 Red Peppers, a food which heals 4 food points. Will get more features and will be a vital ingredient in other foods.

Cabbage

Cabbages spawn randomly througout the world. You can eat them, they heal 3 hunger points. But, you can also farm them, just plant the whole cabbage onto farmland, and they will grow! When they are in full growth state, they drop 2 cabbages.

Landscape:

Mahogany tree

This tree generates in forests. The nice, warmly colored darkwood, produced by the tree, drops 2 logs per block! Ideal for House decoration! When crafted, you get 4 regular planks.

Orange Tulip

This common flower gives a nice addition to Minecraft's view, just as the other flowers;

Purple Tulip

This flower gives a nice addition to Minecraft's view, just like the other flowers...

Blue Tulip

The same as the other flowers, a nice addition to the landscape in Minecraft. All flowers drop 1 of themselves. No crafting recipes yet..

Sunflowers

A two block high flowers, just for the looks of it! Doesn't drop anything, but gives a nice touch in the landscape, mostly at open fields...

Ores

Instant Stone Ore

This ore generates under level 15. It's less rare then diamond, but not too common. When mined with an iron pickaxe or higher, it drops 1 Instant Stone Ore block. When melted in a furnace, it creates an Instant Stone Gem, which is used to make Instant Stone tools.

Turkey

The turkey is finnaly added! This animal has no specific drops, yet.. But it does have it's own sounds! Just like all oter mobs...

Bunny

The bunnies are just adorable!

Deers

These peacefull animals spawn in Male or Female form. But watch out, don't make them angry, they will all attack you!

Monsters:

Tanned Skeleton

These skeletons won't burn in sunlight, watch out for them!

Ghost Miners

The frightning mob... The soul of these passed miners don't have mercy...!

Punching bag

Angry? Mission failed? Came home tired from mining? Just hit that bag! It makes nice sounds, too!

Nice for decoration. Very thin!

He leaves a trail of Iron, diamond, and gold!

We could do some santa stuff in advance for christmas, so I'll look into it

Kyron and me are both working on furniture, i made a table, he made wooden planks and wooden sheets for xcrafting, and i'm working on lamps and such Any idea's?

Ceilig lights? They are not very many mods with ceiling lights.

Skeletal Pit

Basicaly a giant pit in the desert filled with skeleton spawners. The bottom has many chests filled with all sorts of stuff. The walls are made out of Haunted Bricks(which looks somewhat like mossy bricks only radiation green) which can be only broken by Holy Hammer. It is made like this:





It will be useful to break other unholy blocks.

The mod pack will be available in subpackages and all of them together. This is because you may want the extra food part, but don't like the oh-so-awesome mobs we made. Of course you can download them all in one package too for the full experience!
