Hello, here's a list of my mods. I currently have AutoSwitch, EnchantView, MinecartLavaBoats, NoBoomCreepers, WeatherBeGone, and WorldAndGenerationTweaks,
CraftableSaddles, and MobAura.
I am back in business with development!
Read the entire mod description (including the FAQ) for the particular mod before you post about it. From now on I will ignore any questions which are answered in this post.
Todo:
- Major AutoSwitch update! It's big enough that I'm bumping the Major Version (to 2.0.0)
- In-game configuration instead of config file.
- Currently, you can set a block to always mine with a certain tool, but soon you will also be able to set it to never mine with a certain tool (i.e. If you don't want to accidentally mine netherrack set it to never use a pickaxe to mine it.)
- Blocks that drop themselves will not have the fortune enchantment considered for them.
- You will have the option to set which enchantments are preferred for which blocks, along with the default.
- You will have the option to set which enchantments are preferred for which mobs, along with the default.
- You will have the option to set which enchantments are preferred for players, but looting will always be ignored.
- Bug fixes (Bugs? Who said there were bugs? AS is perfect! There is no bugs!
)

AutoSwitch v1.9.0 for Minecraft 1.2.5
53!
Hello, here is a mod that automatically switches to the correct tool when you mine a block and automatically uses the best weapon when attacking a mob or player.
That is, when you are holding a shovel but try to mine a stone it will switch to the pickaxe automatically, and if you try to punch a pig it will switch to your diamond sword automatically, and you can then kill it in 2 hits.
It will also switch back to your previous item when you are done mining or attacking a mob, for useful building. For example, you are holding a stack of cobblestone and building something with it, you misplace a block, you click it and mine it with your pickaxe, then when you are done you switch back automatically to holding cobblestone so you can continue building.
Not only that, but it will switch away from any item that takes damage if you don't have the right tool. That is, you will purposely switch away from an axe when mining dirt even if you don't have a shovel.
It also reads the enchantments wn + Pof the item and uses them to help determine which item to use.
It is off by default, so hit F10 to toggle it on and off. It doesn't conflict with any other mods to my knowledge.
As of version 1.4.0, it always uses the best tool. If you want it to always use the worst tool that still mines the block, hit the P key. That toggles on and off the use worst tool option. It is disabled by default.
If you want to temporarily enable or disable AutoSwitch, hold down the V key. While it is down it temporarily disables or enables it.
AutoSwitch will switch to a sword if all else fails because a sword is 50% faster at mining something than your fist. However, if you don't want to degrade your sword then hit the O key (not zero). That disables sword-switching.
All of AutoSwitch's toggle-able settings are saved for SMP and under each save file. The save files are still compatible when the mod isn't installed.
Works with SSP and SMP, and supports tools and blocks added by mods and enchantments.
The default keys that are associated with each of the options (i.e. F10, P, O, and V) are able to be changed in the config file as of version 1.4.3.
You can set the defaults for the toggles in the config file as of version 1.4.3.
What's new in version 1.7.0/1.8.0/1.9.0:
- Update to Minecraft 1.2.3/1.2.4/1.2.5
- Fixed vines not mining with shears (make sure you update your config if you changed it by setting IGNORE to true)
- There's a new feature where you will decide what weapon to use on a mob depending on how many hits it takes to kill the mob. For example, a sharpness I, looting III and sharpness II sword will both kill a cow in one hit, but the sharpness I, looting III sword will be used because it has looting III.
- This feature will go back damage to decide, if the number of hits and the side enchantments are equal.
- This is not implemented on players in SMP. As someone who frequently does PVP, I usually want to do the most damage in one hit even though another sword would kill the player in the same number of hits.
- When attacking a player, the looting enchantment is ignored.
- Efficient items will now be used to mine weak blocks.
- The attack button, not necessarily the left mouse button, is now used with AutoSwitch.
- Typing V into chat (or out of chat) no longer switches your item.
- The controls screen has been fixed. Use the config file to change the key bindings.
AutoSwitch WILL NOT switch to a bow upon right clicking.
If I were to implement this, then any time someone had a bow in their inventory they couldn't place any block, and that would become quite a pain for bow-users. It would also mean they couldn't eat food, so bow hunting would be impossible. This is why AutoSwitch will not switch to a bow.

How to edit the config file
SET THE IGNORE OPTION TO FALSE
When you open minecraft for the first time after AutoSwitch is installed, it will generate a default config file in .minecraft/mods/AutoSwitch (called CONFIG.txt). If you want to edit it then close minecraft, edit the file, then reopen minecraft. In order for your changes to be recognized you need to turn IGNORE to false. The instructions are in the file. Also, you now use the config file to enable or disable DEBUG output.
If you don't want to edit your config file, then leave the INGORE option to true. It's true by default.
Installation instructions:
Install ModLoader, put mod_AutoSwitch.class inside minecraft.jar, and delete META-INF. DO NOT put AutoSwitchMod-vX-mcY.zip inside your mods folder, or AutoSwitch won't switch back.
If you see a crash or it switches to the wrong tool, or some other bug
Please give me a detailed explanation of the bug with correct spelling and punctuation, and complete sentences. I am sick of trying to figure out how to fix the crash when the post is "dude it crshes wtf i mine stone it crashes plz fix." Please tell me which block and which items are glitching, and any mods you might have installed other than mine. If you can't get minecraft to open, there's probably an error in the config file. If you can get minecraft to open, then close it, enable debug with the config file, then reopen minecraft. Trigger the glitch/crash. Close minecraft and open the .minecraft folder. Go to the mods folder. Go to AutoSwitch, and inside there should be DEBUG.txt. Either attach this file or send me a download link to it on a site like mediafire or dropbox. This will seriously help me fix the glitch. Thank you.
If AutoSwitch doesn't switch back:

Make sure that your .zip and the auto-switch.class itself are not in your mods folder, or anywhere in your .minecraft
only drag the class file into your minecraft.jar
Thanks to BoredGuest123 for explaining the issue.

FAQ:
Q. Minecraft hangs for a while, on "Mojang" then crashes.
A. You probably have some error in your config file. Check it again.
Q. Minecraft crashes on load to blue screen with white box in the middle.
A. You probably have some error in your config file. Check it again.
Q. Black Screen...
A. Delete META-INF, but you should have already done that when you installed ModLoader.
Q. Nothing is happening!
A. Hit F10 to turn it on. It is off by default.
Q. Why is ... a sword block?
A. It probably actually IS a sword block. However if it says on The Minecraft Wiki that it is not a sword item then post a comment and I will try to fix it.
Q. Why is ... mining with a sword? It's not a sword block, I checked!
A. Swords mine any block 50% faster. If you don't want that, hit O (not zero) to turn it off.
Q. You should make it so it uses the lowest possible tool that can mine the block, i.e. uses stone pick for iron ore, but iron pick for diamond ore, and wood pick for stone.
A. You can do that if you want. Just hit P to toggle the Use Worst feature.
Q. Is there a config file so that I can change what pickaxe mines what block?
A. Yes.
Q. It's overwriting the config file when I edit it.
A. Set the IGNORE option to false.
Q. Why doesn't AutoSwitch support bow switching (based on enchantments)?
A. See above.
EnchantView v3.4.0/1.1.1 for Minecraft 1.2.5
THIRTY-FOUR!
This shows what what enchantments you are getting before you get them. It only works in Single Player, unless the server has the multiplayer EnchantView plugin (see below). Because of the way multiplayer in minecraft is set up, your enchantments are determined by the server only after you click on the enchantment, so the preview can not be shown, unless you have the plugin.

MobAura v1.5.0 for Minecraft 1.2.5
Mob Will Have!
Creates an aura around you so mobs within 6 blocks of you are repeatedly attacked by your current item until they die. Does not attack players. It also tries to hit away ghast fireballs. Works in both Single and Multiplayer.

DO NOT UPDATE from anything up to the mc1.1 version to anything after the mc1.1 version without following the update instructions below.
A large number of tweaks related to the World and the terrain generation are including in this mod. All the tweaks are optional, but installing none of them would be pointless. This mod includes:
- Taller and more avatar-like mountains.
- Flat bedrock
- More red mushrooms
- Twice as much natural sugar cane
- 50% more pumpkins
- Melons spawn naturally like pumpkins
- Smaller underground dirt patches
- Smaller underground gravel patches
- Half as many underground dirt patches
- Half as many underground gravel patches
- WAAAY more mushroom biomes. (100x more common)
- Twice as many strongholds (6 per map instead of 3)
- Twice times as many NPC villages.
- Gravel drops flint twice as often
The deeper ground has also been dropped. You can still have taller and more avatar-like mountains.

Update Instructions from up to mc1.1 to after mc1.1.
This is a guide on how to copy your creations from 1.1 to after 1.1. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COPY AN ENTIRE SAVE FILE. This guide will let you save your creations that you spent time on. If you had a simple survival world, then you should probably start new.

MinecartLavaBoats v1.8 for Minecraft 1.2.5
No More SEVENTEEN
This mod makes minecarts behave like boats on lava. It gives you a 5 second immunity to lava when leaving a minecart because you are dunked directly into the lava when you leave. It gives you immunity to lava when you are in a minecart because otherwise you'd burn up. Also, it gives you a 10 second immunity to lava when you when you spawn (spawning includes dying and logging in) because you're never inside a minecart when you spawn.

NoBoomCreepers v1.3 for Minecraft 1.2.4/1.2.5
Insert catchy slogan here!
This makes it so creepers don't explode but walk slowly and hurt you like a zombie. They will break down doors (only in hard) and move around trees just like a zombie will, but do not have the damage resistence that zombies do. They also don't burn up in the daytime. Basically, this makes creepers act exactly like zombies, but they are still creepers (except they hurt you when you touch them).

Redistribute Permissions
These mods (plugin, a patch to Minecraft source, henceforth "Mod" or "The Mod"), are sole property of the Mod author (Leo Izen (thebombzen), henceforth "Owner", "The Owner", or "Mod Creator"). By default they may only be distributed on minecraftforums.net or planetminecraft.com. They may only be mirrored or reposted with advance written permission of the Owner, unless they abide by the Mod Pack permissions below. Electronic Mail is fine if you wait for a response. URL shorteners or other attempts to make money off The Owner's Mod are strictly forbidden without advance written permission, even in a Mod Pack. See Section 5 below.
Mod Packs
Sorry if this sounds like a contract and is too dull to read, but I want to cover myself:
You, a Mod Pack creator, may use any mod on this post in a Mod Pack without explicit permission under these conditions which I reserve the right to change at any time, but will not change retroactively:
- You must provide a link to this post for the purpose of indicating the original location of the Mod. This link must be visible to any user before the user downloads the Mod Pack.
- You may not post a link directly to the download of the individual Mod. All download links to the individual mod must instead link to this post. You may directly link to your Mod Pack containing the said Mod.
- You must give Thebombzen, the author of every mod on this post, credit for the used Mod. This could be done by a) Citing my name in the name of the mod e.g. "Thebombzen's AutoSwitch" or "EnchantView, by Thebombzen" b ) Giving a thanks such as "Thanks to Thebombzen for MobAura" c) Other appropriate method of credit. Whether a method is appropriate is completely at the my discretion. I will be reasonable.
- I have the right to disallow you from using any of my Mods at any time. I will not do this unless something outrageous happens, such as using my Mod for illegal activities.
- Attempts to make money off the said Mod, such as URL shorteners or other methods, are strictly forbidden unless I receive a proportional share of the profits equal to Two Thirds times the number of Mods in the Mod Pack that are created by me divided by the total number of Mods in the Mod Pack. The payment method is determined by what is convenient for both me and you. For example, if I created two mods out of five, I would earn Two Thirds Times Two Fifths or Four Fifteenths of the profits, or about 27%.
- If I update a Mod on this page I request that any creator of a Mod Pack containing the said mod make their best effort to update the pack within a reasonable amount of time. This is not a complete restriction, but I don't want a bunch of people complaining that the mod is glitchy if I fixed the glitches in a newer version that a Mod Pack failed to update to.
