What's new in 1.5.2.1?
Updated for Minecraft 1.5.2. That's why you're here, right?
New easy-to-use universal download. Now Mine Little Pony can be installed however you want, from a single download.
Fixed a bug. You used to lose your pony model if you left and rejoined the game, now you don't.
Actually tested with Forge! Yeah, I went there.
For full information about what was updated, I posted about it here.
What's new in 1.5.1.4?
Fixed a more major bug. FML could load my latest ModLoader versions, but ModLoader itself couldn't. This fixes that.
What's new in 1.5.1.3?
Fixed a dumb bug. The villager saddle bags were rendered on the player in the skin preview display, this fixes that. Derp.
What's new in 1.5.1.2?
Added pony villagers. They're kind of like ponyfied versions of the mojang villagers...
Fixed a crash with ModLoader and a differet crash with Forge. This should all now be fully compatible with Forge.
Broke compatibility with VoxelPlayer. For now. This change will actually make everything work more nicely with VoxelPlayer from the next release of that though
For full information about what was updated, I posted about it here.
What's new in 1.5.1.1?
Works with Minecraft 1.5.1. That's the main thing.
Proper fix for the bug where skins broke if you warped to another world. Yeah, I was still working on that. Now it is properly fixed (*crosses fingers...*).
Compatibility still probably mostly broken. Specifically, this will break items added by Forge mods, I don't know about other stuff. I'll work on that next. HD skins probably work with Forge and maybe Optifine too... time to get testing!
For full information about what was updated, I posted about it here.
What's new in 1.5.0.1?
Works with Minecraft 1.5.0. That's the main thing.
Improved fix for the bug where skins broke if you warped to another world. The last fix didn't really fix this at all. This fix probably does (or at least, works around it so you'll never see the problem any more).
Probably broke all compatibility. Yeah, that's going to take a bit longer, sorry. I should have a ModLoader version this weekend, then I'll do the 1.5.1 update, then I'll start working on adding Forge compatibility back (this almost certainly won't work properly with Forge right now). Don't forget, the normal version of Mine Little Pony is and always has been compatible with ModLoader, so you can install the normal version alongside ModLoader and all your ModLoader mods.
For full information about what was updated, I posted about it here.
What's new in 1.4.6.4?
Fixed a bug where skins broke if you warped to another world. Derp.
What's new in 1.4.6.3?
HD stuff working properly with Forge. HD skins now works fine with Forge, and FML can even load the ModLoader version of the mod from your mods folder if you like. This release probably improves compatibility with Optifine too.
New and updated skins. Added lots of new skins from Season 3 and updated lots of the older skins. Thanks to the talented artists on the
Mine Little Pony forums for their contributions!
Added some new data pixel values. This is to support mods that want to add abilities to zebras and changlings (they just use the earth pony and alicorn models respectively).
For full information about what was updated, I posted about it here.
What's new in 1.4.6.2?
Fixed a bug with arrows sticking in players. Actually I just removed that code for now, I'll fix it properly later. HD stuff still doesn't work with Forge

.
What's new in 1.4.6.1?
Updated for Minecraft 1.4.6. HD stuff doesn't work at all with Forge yet
Fixed a bug where your cloak turns the colour of enchanted items you hold. Derp.
What's new in 1.4.5.3?
Fixed HD skins menu for Forge users. That's all, if you don't use Forge you don't need to worry about updating.
What's new in 1.4.5.2?
Added full HD skin support. Now you can use the Mine Little Pony skin server for your HD and transparent skins. Just press F1 at the main menu to open the new HD skin interface and upload your skins right in the game!
Fixed Forge and Spoutcraft compatibility. If you had any problems with those in 1.4.5.1 they should be fixed now.
Fixed a bunch of other little bugs. The texture is no longer inverted on one wing for pegasus ponies. The hair is in the right place when you sneak as a human now. The magic glow on unicorns doesn't clip into the hair any more.
What's new in 1.4.5.1?
Works with Minecraft 1.4.5. That's all, this was another easy update. As usual please let me know if I broke Forge and Spout.
What's new in 1.4.4.1?
Works with Minecraft 1.4.4. That's all, this was a really easy update. I haven't tested Forge and Spout yet, so let me know if that broke (it probably didn't).
What's new in 1.4.2.3?
Added ModLoader version. ModLoader is out for Minecraft 1.4.2 now so I've been able to make the ModLoader version of Mine Little Pony as an alternative to the normal version for people who don't like to put things other than ModLoader in their Minecraft jar.
Fixed forge compatibility. Mine Little Pony is now full compatible with Minecraft Forge. Just install Mine Little Pony into your Forge-modded Minecraft in the normal way and everything should work! Thanks as always to
BlueAgent for his tireless work supporting this. He's added all the latest Spout stuff too but someone else will need to test that.
Now packaged correctly for Magic Launcher. I've zipped the normal version a bit differrently this time so you shouldn't need to repackage it to make it work with Magic Launcher anymore.
Fixed leather armour texture. The sides of the leather armour chestplate weren't coloured correctly if you used dye, now they will be.
What's new in 1.4.2.2?
Updated for 1.4.2. Modloader for 1.4.2 isn't out yet, so you'll have to use the non-ModLoader version for now. Of course, this will still work with all your ModLoader mods as normal. Probably doesn't work with Forge or Spout yet. Includes a little fix for the unicorn horn glow sometimes being invisible (and I backported that to 1.3.2 as well, get Mine Little Pony 1.3.2.6 from the downloads section if you use that).
What's new in 1.3.2.5?
Fixed a stupid bug where you turn white when you take damage. The new unicorn effects introduced this bug, this update fixes it.
What's new in 1.3.2.4?
Re-done unicorn magic effects. I had some mixed feedback about the glow on unicorn horns so I've redone it to make it more subtle and more show-accurate. I've also added a glow to the items held by unicorns, let me know what you think!

This should also fix all the bugs people reported relating to the old horn glow.
Experimental improved HD skin support. HD skins are now processed correctly so the skinning technique will be detected properly. More news about this soon I hope.
Bugfix for TagAPI. People's skins should now load correctly even if servers send colour codes in player names now.
What's new in 1.3.2.3?
Another forge fix. Armour added by forge should work fine with this version.
Improved running animation. Hurricaaane made a slightly nicer running animation for the ponies, let me know what you think!
What's new in 1.3.2.2?
Once more fully Forge-compatible! Just install this mod after you install Forge and it will work perfectly with all your favourite Forge mods. Thanks as always to
BlueAgent for making this happen.
Improved skin loading. I've improved a bunch of stuff about how skins are loaded to give a more stable experience. This includes elminating most bugs where skins were assigned the wrong model, and fixing a very old bug where the model was not correctly updated if a user changed their skin and logged on again. Now you don't need to re-log to see someone's new model correctly.
I also made a little patch to work around the current problems with Mojang's skin servers, I see a lot less Steves when I use it, maybe it will work for you? Anyway, you can give it a try here:
http://www.minecraft...dskinserver-10/
I've backported the skin-loading fixes to 1.2.5 so if your server is still running that you can download Mine Little Pony 1.2.7 which includes these fixes.
What's new in 1.3.2.1?
Unicorn magic! When unicorns hold items their horns glow with magical energy! See the "Skinning" section of this post for information about how to customise the colour of the glow. Thanks to
BlueAgent for a lot of of the work on this. The skin pack has been updated so most of the unicorns have custom magic colours.
Cloaks! I added back cloaks for both humans and ponies. Show your cloak in all its glory! (Probably works with custom cloak mods).
Added a default skin. This is something that people have been asking for forever. Now if you use
ponylevel=2 (everyone is ponies) you can now easily choose how you appear in-game by replacing "
mobs/charpony.png". By default you are Daring Do, but you can just replace that file with your favourite pony. This is overridden by any pony-compatible skin you upload to minecraft.net.
Some other fixes... I fixed the rotation of the pumpkin when you wear it as a hat. I also added an option to turn of snuzzles in the config files. See the section on "Configuring stuff" for more information.
Compatible with Minecraft 1.3.2.
What's new in 1.3.1.2?
Fixed a bunch of annoying bugs in the 1.3.1.1 release:
- Old-style skins are now detected and displayed correctly.
- You can now specify you do not want to see the new-style armour using the configuration file. Include the line "ponyarmor=0" in your config file to disable the new armour. See the section of this post about the configuration file for more information.
- Fixed armour being displayed incorrectly when riding a minecart. Re-added armour being displayed when sleeping.
- Now if the "mods" folder for your config files doesn't exist it is created for you
What's new in 1.3.1.1?
I haven't updated any of the skinning guide pictures yet to explain any of the new stuff, I figured it was better to do the release first. Go read the skinning guide if you want to know how to activate the new stuff.
Works with Minecraft 1.3.1 - Finally you can be a pony in the latest version of Minecraft. I also made a version with all the other new features for 1.2.5 so anyone still running an older version doesn't have to miss out on the new features.
Ponies of all shapes and sizes! -
Now in addition to the normal sized pony you can be an elegant alicorn, a strong draft horse like Big Macintosh, or a little foal! Use of the different models is triggered by a special pixel, please read the skinning section for more information. Take a look at all the different ponies!

Foals are adorable:
New pony armour! - Now the ponies have custom armour (rather than trying to re-use the Minecraft human armour). It looks way better! Huge thanks to
ShetiPhian for the new armour code and
Fruzstrated for the default armour textures.

You can include pony armour in your texture packs! Check out the new
Love and Tolerance texture pack that includes some new custom pony armour:
New config style! - Now the config is stored in mods/MineLittlePony/MineLittlePony.properties (rather than saved in the zip file or jar). It is generated automatically if the file doesn't exist, so mod installation is simpler. See the section about the config file for more information.
Ooodles and oodles of new and updated ponies! - You simply have
no idea. Okay, I'll
give you an idea.

Big thanks to
everyone who contributed skins to this release, I love you!!!
More compatible - Added compatibility with forge and modloader where it was previously broken (e.g. support for new armour and items). Tested and working with IC2, Mine Little Brony, etc. (in 1.2.5 anyway, all bets are off for 1.3.1). Refactored modloader version to conflict with less stuff. As usual, huge thanks to
BlueAgent for his ingenious work on compatibility.
Bugs with advanced skinning technique fixed - The advanced technique incorrectly displayed the back and belly of the pony textures flipped (compared to what you'd expect and how they were displayed on the default model) in previous mod versions. It also took the texture for the unicorn horn from the wrong place (using part of the head texture) so that's now fixed too. I also fixed the bug where the underside of the pony was rendered too bright in some lighting conditions.
Code refactored, cleaned up, and released - Hopefully that will make it easier for contributors to add stuff withour relying on a lazy bum like me to do anything

. I have a private assembla.com group for contributors (PM me to be added if you'd like to contribute, use the models, steal other code, etc).
Old models removed - Hardly anyone was using the older models (the ones without the necks and snuzzles) and they were annoying to maintain so they've been removed.
