[Kinglau3]

Hello! My name is Kinglau3 and this is my first map. I was inspired by the map: Escape the Puzzlemaster. by Ditto64.

The map is called 'Levels' and it's puzzle / parkour based.
As this is my first map, I don't really know if it is good enough. If it is too easy / hard, too long / short.This is mostly a test to see how well the community reacts to my brand of puzzles and twists.
So please give me some feedback!

Play the map on peaceful mode as there are no places where you should fight enemies.
You wouldn't want to be pushed in the lava by a zombie!

Recommendations
I recommend using the Toomanyitems mod by Marglyph.
This is to set time to night for using the checkpoint system in the most efficient way.

Texture pack
I want to recommend using the texture pack Losmcraft by Losm.
It just looks really great with the map, and it doesn't require MCPatcher or any other mod.
If you want to use it, it's included in the download

Levels: a Map by Kinglau3:
STORY: Really good for a parkour map, most parkour maps I play don't have good stories. 14/15
Creative-ness: Very creative, not a map like it!! 15/15
Diffuctly: Not to hard, not too easy. I'm really bad at parkour, so it varies per person. 13/15
Length:Only one hour, so good if your looking for a quick map. 13/15
OVERALL: 55/60
A good map, very short and not very hard, not too easy. This is a fantastic Puzzle/Parkour map!

Levels:
Story: I`d say the story is pretty cool and it needs a 8/15
Creativity: THE WORD IS YES 15/15
Difficulty: The map gave me the rages! Its really hard (but I suck at parkour) so this needs a 10/15
Length: The map is not too long or short so congrats 15/15

Overall score: 48/50 Very good map overall it is hard but not vechs hard. Its not too short or too long. The story is pretty cool. THIS MAP IS NEW (NOT COPIED AT ALL) VERY CREATIVE!
Bugs/Glitches: Well in the sheep room when i press the "if a sheep dies press this button" it made a dispenser sound and pressed it until it sounded like it was out and then i broke blocks (sorry) and followed the redstone to the dispenser and right clicked it and like 10 sheep spawned on top of glass so I had to break the glass to get the sheep down there (again sorry).

The map Levels has recently undergone a major update. This is not a full review, just commentary on the changes.

The lava maze was replaced with a large amount of new and good content. There were some bugs in the new puzzles, but that's to be expected of fresh content. The wood bridge over lava is sort of luck dependant, so the stacks to build with could probably be a little larger to make it more consistent. The testificate that you punch should trigger the redstone permanently since it continually tries to jump back up off the pressure plate. The parkour is still mountains more difficult than the enderpearl maze, though both have been greatly improved upon. Overall, the content of the beginning has improved up to the quality at the end.

The frogger game in the version I played is broken and has 2 minecarts on a couple tracks and none on others. I'll just assume these bugs will get ironed out and give the map back a function point. +1 FUNCTION

The area that was added in looks very clean, so form was improved as well.

The ending was made to mesh a bit more with the starting premise. There's a clear improvement here as well. I don't know if it's enough to gain points, but qualitatively I can say the map works better in every way.

Would I recommend it?
- Definitely more than before the overhaul. The map is much improved.

Well go to quick reply then you'll see a thing that looks like a chain next to the smile. Click on the chain thing or put cursor over and it will say hyperlink. Once clicked enter the address into the top space and the text in bottom. And your done!

Summarised review:

21/25 - I loved this map; it had the perfect blend of challenging parkour and puzzles, along with really nice themes for all the rooms with a clean looking map. The only flaws I can really pick up upon are that in many places, it's unclear what to do, which can make the map frustrating. Other than that, this is probably the best map I've ever played!
