Spoiler:

Actually just got a bug.  Happened on a vanilla server with some other mods running, but not many.  If you need a full list I'll get it together and post it but it looks like this is Metallurgy.  I believe the player was trying to place a bucket of water.

I was able to reproduce it, it happened when you kill something with your hand. A fix should be up soon.

So, are the fixes you've been putting up, the 2.3.1's, for 142 still? or 144/145? Thanks.

1. What SMEZ said:
- Use the last version of the mod-files
- For ID-Conflicts change the ID (935) in the configs

2. What may cause this error:
- You are sure, that you ONLY have the newest mod-file in the mods-folder and have deleted the old ones?
- You are sure, that you have deleted the Metallurgy-Configs before starting with the new version?

This is weird, but I've spent the last several hours screwing around with it before posting it here.

When I include metallurgy into my 1.4.5 server's mods, the strangest thing happens that I can't track down.

Worlds generated with clean metallurgy configs on my 1.4.5 server generate a world that users can log into, but can only move in a one-block line.

Worlds generated with other mods or with no mods at all: everything works just great as far as I can tell.

Worlds generated including metallurgy: players can't move around except in a straight line, as if there were invisible walls stretching up to the heavens.

I've tried it on several clean 1.4.5 clients with differing metallurgy setups, with clean configs, with configs set up to ensure no ID conflicts, with other mods, without other mods, with different forge versions, with a complete clean install of minecraft and server on a different server host box. It's metallurgy every time, somehow. There's no crash or error logs that I can find, but it generates worlds that can't be moved around in.

In SP it seems to be fine, except for there's inevitably startup wonkiness on new worlds, like "falling through the world" or "shaking because I'm stuck in the ground until I get out of it", things like that.

But, servers I create, when including metallurgy in the mods in any way, cause a world that can't be moved around in.

It wears off sometimes after maybe 30 minutes, but I don't really trust it, if that makes any sense Posted Image I'm just going with it for now, but I thought I should probably bring it up.

A suggestion to integrate your mod a little more with IndustrialCraft: make your Tar so it can be smelted into Rubber (with a furnance).

I think that is logic that rubber can be made from tar, because in real world it also can come from tar.

Ah, I thought I missed some hardcoded ids, you should be able to change Forestry Block ids to fix it.

Is there a link somewhere for the Forestry 1.4.4 Beta?  I understand there's a version 1.6.1.2 floating around, but I can't find it.

From what I know and from what I've seen on the Metallurgy 2 irc channel the m2 team is wanting to move away from IC2.

Doesn't mean there won't be no compatibility between the two. They're moving away from IC2 because they don't want to conform around having to need or focus heavily on IC2. From previous posts they're wanting to swing more towards the buildcraft set up like what Thermal Expansion has done.

No worries, they have already made that change and we switched back (they actually changed to what we had originally), that's what caused the crusher not to be crush ores in the 2.3.1, I forgot to change itemDust to dust in one place.
