2) If you are playing this world in minecraft, exit to the main menu.
3) Push "Save" button (Ctrl + S hotkey).
4) Enter to world in minecraft, enjoy.
5) Press "Reload" button (Crtl + R, F5 hotkeys) to read actual world data.
General rule is to push Save button, when not ingame, otherwise minecraft will overwrite your changes.

Sorry for my english and please let me know if you find a spelling error in SpLE
This is by far the best tool i have ever seen yet!!!! It would be even better if there was an inventory editor, and if it could work on multiplayer. please consider these suggestions.
Very Nice! Just used it on Ubuntu Linux. I din't see the jar download so I used the exe and ran it with java, no problems. Now I'll be able to get rid of that pesky low fps-inducing rain.

Thanks for bug report
Please try the new version
Could not find the main class: com.galaran.SplEditor
Then it closes. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Are you use the latest version?
Try jar, not exe
I am having the same problem. I tried both .jar and .exe. Both close with the same error message. (I am on Window Vista, JAVA is up to date)
For Mac, use jar, not exe.
Only what you need is Java - if you are playing Minecraft, it is installed.
Could not find the main class: com.galaran.spleditor.Spleditor.
Program will exit
On windows 7
