So I've been busy making myself an awesome Atlantis-style fortress, and I decided I wanted to make a cool hidden room that housed a portal to the End. Is there any way to place my own ender portal?? INVedit doesn't have ender portal blocks, and I can't find any block ID that will work for them. Does anyone have anything helpful suggestion? (With the exception of building my fortress around an existing stronghold lol)

Much appreciated!!!

Any hacked in portal will not work, so you're kinda screwed. 122 if you wanna try though. The blocks themselves are derpy  when placed, and if you put the portal itself in, it's crashy.
Why do assholes exist? Life would be boring without someone to yell at.

Thanks! I'll go ahead and give it a go and see how it fares. If anything, maybe I'll just go find myself an existing one, and maybe set up a nether jump series of portals to get there quickly lol

You can do it the same as a stronghold, those weird eye of ender blocks that you put in, and just place the eyes in.

TooManyItems has both blocks. It is basically an in-game version of InvEdit.
InvEdit hasn't been updated since Beta 1.9.3, so it doesn't have any of the blocks added after Beta 1.9.3.

End Portal ID: 119
End Portal Frame ID: 120

They should add end blocks to creative.I think it's to hard to find strongholds even with the eye of ender.

On Creative, you should try aiming for the bottom of the block.

Find a stronghold and use the pick block key while looking at on of the portal frame blocks, and you can set them up in your fortress

if you place 12 portal frame blocks in the normal shape and put eyes in them, it will make a portal. you don't need to muss around with the portal blocks themselves.
please note that the frame blocks MUST be placed with the right orientation! you must place them all from the inside of the circle that they will create.

Here's the easiest way (I know of) to make a personal end portal.

First, you will need Mincecraft 1.5, or later for it to work. Not sure about other versions, unless you have some mods. Make a world in creative mode or with cheats enabled.
Now, spawn in some end portal ( /give [username] 119 9 77) and some end portal frames ( /give [username] 120 1 78). Switch to creative ( /gamemode 1)
Next, to make it look natural/realistic, arange them in this way;
a b b b a
b p p p b
b p p p b
b p p p b
a b b b a
