Ok, so I tried to login just now with the right password on the client, and it said "Too many failed logins." I went on minecraft.net logged in successfully. So I know my password is correct, and has not been changed.
I could play in the browser, but its never really worked all too well for me.
So my question is... is there just some dumbass trying to guess my password? Why should I be effected by this? How do I fix this... could someone just get mad at me and lock my account like this?
My main concern is that I run a server. I do have an alt account, and a last resort would be to stalk the client. But I shouldn't have to do that.
Could someone help me out, what are my options to prevent/fix this :l

You could try changing your password for a while and see what happens.

If only Minecraft had a great team of people that help people with their minecraft problems. (Like Blizzard).

I'm having this problem as well, changed my password and haven't touched my account in 6 hours. So either notch has some messed up code or someone is trying to brute force my account. Neither are very good possibilities.

Well this is bull####! too many failed logins? have not been on my mc for nearly 24hours. was fine yesterday. just deleted all mc and re-installed it still same crap. im NOT buying it again what the hell is going on? Can't even acsess my own server coz of the too many failed logins when i aint even been attempting to login. STUPID this is.
PS: like Blizzard??? LOL thats so funny! Not.. Blizzard Don't have a very good support team. been playing wow over 4years have alot of top quality lvl85 geared raiding chars and the problems mount up and half of em still aint been resolved! Blizzard could not care less. all they care about is making money!
