Hi guys. this is my first post so I hope you can help.

I'm trying to get the Aether Mod working on my pc but it won't work. I run a 64bit OS (windows 7) does that make it fail?

Any help would be great

It can be a lot of things, like the wrong version, or you forgetting to delete the META-INF folder, so could you be more specific? And i dont think its because of windows 7 or the 64 bits, but i could be wrong.

State if you are running any other mods.
As said above, compare the version you're trying to install with your current minecraft version.
Make sure you delete the META.INF folder too.

it hasnt been updated to 1.8 yet are you using 1.8? OR did you install modloader/audiomod/playerapi/that other thing?

i have 1.7.3 and i installed all of the things you need for the aether mod but when i start it up it doesn't crash or black screen but it doesn't have the new things in my inventory.

No i am not using any mods.
i deleted METAINF and installed audiomod, modloader, shockahpIr5 and aaether mod itself.

If you have used this mod mod or got a link to any good websites please let me now.

Mods that work with 32Bit also works with 64Bit.
Java is the same on 32Bit and 64Bit (except that 64Bit can allocate memory that is more than 3GB).
