Welcome to a brand new world of Minecraft, deviating greatly from your default pack. Runeix features extreme changes to many parts of the terrain and items found in Minecraft. From a complete redo of stone and ores, to brand rocky golem hostile mobs! Spawn in the new owrld of Runeix, where the pure and non of water and lava spreads new fantastic magic unto the surface... and beyond...
The ancient civilizations before you left behind far more than buried ruins, and some may still be lurking just beyond the sunlight. The purest of water has turned beautiful white. Subsequently, the lost souls of the ancient Priorities have journeyed, not to the afterlife, but the water. However, some lost their way, and fill the new black darkness of light giving lava. Even worse, the evil Priorities that lived so long ago hid their secrets in the ancient buried castles and temple rooms, guarded by enchanted stone golems.
* Actual Game-play may vary
And if you use MCPatcher's CTM mod...
FAQ:
Why is the water white?
If you had read the description, the water represents a purity, and therefore I chose white for its coloring.
What resolution is this?
16x
Will you take this pack down, its stupid and I hate you.
The download count seems to contradict that statement. I made this pack for me, and released it for people who like it. If you don't that's fine, I don't hate you.
Can you change block X?
Let me know whats wrong with it please. If I agree with you, then yes.

Changelog:
v5.5 - Updated to function in 1.6.2. However, most new textures are still default, and water/lava is broken in the current version of Minecraft. Removed all Mod Support.
v5.0 re-release - Repaired problems with animated textures having a "missing texture"
v5.0 - 1.5 compatible. Not much else to say n the matter.
v4.7 - Updated for 1.4.6, changes to Anvil GUI and Beacon Block.
v4.6 - Updated to 12w38a, changed mob heads.
v4.4 - Updates for 12w36a. Changes to come when I get more time.
v4.4 - Update for the snapshot, with probably a couple minor tweaks.
v4.3 - Support for 12w32a Snapshot (Beacon Block is a placeholder for now, commands block is subject to change) and some more new paintings. One of the paintings has an ancient runic message, another of them contains the cipher. Can you decode the ancient text?
v4.2 - Use of MCPatcher's ctm for randomized textures on blocks such as netherrack, grass, bricks, and others.
v4.1_1 - Did the new creative inventory.
v4.1 - Biggest change: Better Dyes. Subject to further change, dont get too used to most of them.
v4.0 - Innumerable changes, but you will notice them easily!
v3.9 - Technical support for 12w22a, but the Creative Inventory is still for 1.2.5 for on-level players. please see last post for further info.
v3.8 - Removed support for ExtrabiomesXL, Firestone mod, and the secretly supported Enderchest (Duh) for the update of 12w21a, so there is now Emerald Ore, ruby and emerald coins, etc.
v3.7 - Update for 12w18/19a, with a fixed furnace burner, cocoa plants, and likely a thing or two that I did a while back.
v3.6 - Update for 12w17a, with book items and GUI.
v3.5 - GUI add/editions, mod support updates, new wooden planks (goodbye hard lines) as well as all terrain textures using wooden planks.
v3.4_5 - Bosscraft Textures.
v3.4 - Updated Bosscraft Textures, updated Twilight Forest Textures, added the Virus mod to support list. Its cool.
v3.2 - New Magma Cube texture. I will likely be reworking a lot of mob textures for the foreseeable future. Updated Bosscraft Textures.
v3.1_5 - Updated for 1.2.4, with new woods, and slightly changed the hieroglyphic blocks.
v3.1 - New paper, books, maps, and probably other terrain and items i'll keep secret. Also added partial/most support for the BossCraft mod.
v3.0 - Couple of small changes, biggest update = ExtraBiomesXL support.
v2.9 - Changed bricks and Nether bricks. Giant Netherrack overhaul, as I realized just how difficult a pitch black Nether was. It should make navigating it easier. New cake.
v2.82 - Added the new decorative stone brick textures, fixed golems for the 1.2 prerelease, made the new unused sandstone block textures, fixed bed item texture.
v2.8 - New bed and cracked stone brick textures, easier to read font, IRON GOLEMS! And made the gold mob versions look better and more like the gold blocks.
v2.7 - Few updated block and item textures, now supports snapshot 12w07a, with redstone lamps, and neat ne smoke and splash features!
v2.6 - A host of minor updates, and a few big ones. Most importantly is updated water and lava, which have a still animation, and nicer moving textures.
v2.5 - A bunch of item sprite updates, paintings!
v2.4 - Updated to this weeks snapshot. New buckets, Oselots, cats, new vines, jungle sky color, and probably other things.
v2.3 - Finally buckled down and did the Hunger Bar. Added support for the new textures in this week's snapshot, and probably other minor tweaks.
v2.2 - Cloud tweaks, added biome compliant sky and fog color. Probably something else I forgot.
v2.1 - Tweaks, including reeds and torches, torch animations if you use MCPatcher, and removed Thaumcraft support. Probably other stuff.

v1.9 - Mod support for Nightsky+, with HD planets.
v1.8.3 - Support for the mod, Thaumcraft, some minor tweaks to a few things, new vines, and better support for MCPatcher's color mod.

This will always be worked on, whether it be tweaks, total makeovers, or mod support. Check back every week or so, because something will be bound to have changed.
thats pretty cool, but one thing:- you should lay off the heavy thick lines mate, as it kinda gets a little bit retarded on some blocks. other then that it's pretty awesome for now, you get:
I like the concept. But I think that the more common tiles, like grass, should be less contrasted.
I really like the zombie :smile.gif:
Thanks for your guys's feedback. On a note for the grass, I kinda made it specifically so it WOULD be heavy and contrasted, to create a more overgrown look, rather than the all to typical mowed lawn.
The water doesn't have a smooth switch from sitting and running. on the running water, try to make the lines just a tiny amount different than the normal, and clearer. (but not unnoticeable)also make them thinner. note that I'm just judging from the pictures for now. but it looks great. i will download hen i can.
EDIT: also the sugar cane and cactuses look too bright. I'd make them darker. your sugar canes look like this. I think they should look more like this. (make them blend more with the grass, but not look stupid on the sand.)
I want to be honest with you...
This looks terrible.... But dont be mad. My stuff looked like that too when i first started! :tongue.gif:
Except I havent just started. I am an established texture artist. You may just not like it and thats fine, I don't hold that against you. But your opinion alone does not make it terrible.
Ok, new update. Sorry I keep bumping, just wanna get this kick started. :tongue.gif:
Included in this update are the addition of modifications for all mobs (Pigs are not blue, you are just colorblind :tongue.gif: ) and a few changes to water features like rain, as it didn't really make sense that rain would be blue if the water is white.
Just so you know i'm still supporting you :smile.gif:
Thanks for the support! I hope you enjoy the modified water and lava, as I took your advice. I have yet to change the cacti and reeds, but I hope to fix them soon! :biggrin.gif:
